Often you may find yourself wondering what it is that separates us, what segregates and classifies us, jaggedly dividing us into our mismatched groups of apparent similitude. You pull into question this supposedly pragmatic and balanced approach to modern society and take it apart, piece by piece, in an attempt to see a way that we can move forward and create a world in which everything and everyone resonates as one. It's a pure picture, a vision where we no longer exist in this dystopian Discordia, a world defined entirely by distorted fringes and crooked boundaries. It's this harmonious world, a world of 'Fields Without Fences' that we dream of.
The dream is fully and wholeheartedly realised in this stunning body of work. It opens with the beautiful 'Undisguised', a piece comprised of intricately interwoven drums and emotionally enrapturing melodies, finished off with beautifully drawn out vocals. From here you're taken on what can only be described as an undulating journey through immutable rhythms, spellbinding riffs and barrier transcending vocals. Long, one-note bass lines unavoidably hypnotise you and draw you into the music in a way that's not dissimilar to insects' attraction to light. It ebbs and flows perfectly, with peak tracks such as 'In Other Worlds' or 'Homeboy' enticing you to shake a leg, while downtimers such as 'Late Checkout TBC' or 'Fields Without Fences' encourage you to take a step back and reflect.
Oliver Schories has crafted a truly captivating, emotional and spiritually enlightening journey with this latest offering of his trademark melodic crossbreed of house and techno. During the course of his prosperous career he has gained an extremely impressive following and has released on labels such as Parquet, Stil Vor Talent, Katermukke, Kittball and Noir. 'Fields Without Fences' is his third studio album and will be his first full length on his own SOSO imprint. What's most impressive is that it's his third full length deliverance in the space of four years. 'Fields Without Fences' is a big step on from 'Exit', a collection of music that was more sun kissed and downtempo, and it takes more of a dance floor direction while still keeping the reflective nature he's been known for.

Steyoyoke mainstay BLANCAh returns with a four track EP entitled ‘Osso’. Hypnotic and dreamy, percussive and menacing, ‘Osso’ is bound to hit home in clubs around the world. 

‘Axis’ is a reduced affair featuring a seductively hypnotic bassline and a powerfully marching groove. ‘Axis’ conjures a compellingly unique soundscape, striking a stark contrast between smooth synthwork and a decidedly menacing undertone.

‘Hamato’ sees BLANCAh return to familiar waters. Glittering atmospheres of synths and arps create layers upon layers of dazzling musicality. With ‘Hamato’, BLANCAh showcases her full musical spectrum while also introducing a well-placed note of progressiveness.

‘Talus’ is a percussive shaker built on a blissful layer of atmospheric keys. A hugely beautiful gliding synth artfully amps up the energy and elevates the listener to a state of pure exultation.

‘Ílio’ concludes the 4-tracker with a picture perfect club smasher. A powerful layer of subs and a throbbing kick make sure the track will hit home on the dancefloor, while a magnificent medley of pads and synths seals the deal.

Release Info: 
The mastermind behind the label, Definition himself returns with a massive new solo release, Falling EP. With his last solo release nearly a year back, one look at the tracklist gives us an idea why; 5 new and exclusive works – quality takes time.

The title track opens the EP in a deep and melodic landscape burning low and steady. The vocal cuts bring an ethereal vibe as the synths crescendo and the kick beats on.

Next Dimitri shows us another side, ‘Tulipe Noir’ engages us in an electric fantasy full of swirling arpeggios cloaked in retro vibes. The collaboration with his friend Def:Play spends a tribute to an old Soul, which introduced them and kicked off the start for a beautiful friendship. A beautiful adventure right from the begin, thanks to a stunning arrangement and a knack for flow.

‘Emotions’ drops us in a world of deep heavy kicks with tense air between them. The pads rise. The reason for our journey is clear as the floor throbs with bass. But that’s not all, the waters get warmer, and the sun does shine, if only briefly.

Turning up the groove, ‘Gone’ melts the tension with a smooth groove and a solid drive. By the middle of the track, we’re caught with a contagious rhythm and natural swing.

The final track of the EP is perhaps its warmest – a beautiful break-beat adventure fantastically vocalized by Liu Bei. ‘Rise Again’ is that upbeat catchy summer tune you just can’t get enough of – done tastefully and elegantly. A beautiful and warm conclusion to an outstanding EP.

Influenced by the works of Brian Eno, Philip Glass, John Cage and Steve Reich, Marino has carved his own staple sound in the techno scene through a stream of solid releases. He has released on MOOD, Hommage and KmN and his fans include Adam Beyer, Nicole Moudaber, Adriatique Joris Voorn and Pan-Pot, and here makes his debut on the ever reliable Lost & found imprint. Fabric London owner, Keith Reilly, was quoted in an interview saying, "We all live in a world where we have instant access to the worlds most talented DJ's now. But every decade or so you hear someone, and you know there is something else, something very special going on. I feel Marino is that someone". We are treated to three tracks here, so kicking off with ' All The Right Endings'. a beautiful deep building journey, that locks you in to its magical groove. deep and infectious vibes flow, and then the key changing arp line adds an air of sophistication, as we travel along its melodious path. the track ends with an epic, almost orchestral feel as we are treated to a beat-less outro and a half! 'The Midnight Sun' is a Burning man style sexy little number. The simple arp is the backbone here and carries everything along, as spacious reverbs and pads arrive and disappear, all while you're locked under its mysterious spell. 'The Endless Fall' aptly closes this EP and is a deep and fantastical voyage, that effortlessly meanders through a dreamy wash of coolness. Subtle pads and fx add layers of warmth as this track develops. The melodics increase as we reach the breakdown and a treated to a pine tingling 'moment' for the dance floor.
