Come to a DJ Manifesto show and you’ll experience a sense of sonic elevation only possible through the combination of graceful violin strings and the hypnotic beats of bass-driven, melodic electronic music. Combining these seemingly disparate styles is an ever-evolving process that continually challenges the producer.

DJ Manifesto’s proclamation in life - blending the violin and electronic music, has been a lifelong process. He picked up his first violin at age five and his first set of turntables at 11 when his local YMCA invited him to DJ an event. After, he took over his father’s recording studio and began producing music.

DJ Manifesto has played over 1,500 shows throughout his career, sharing the stage with artists including Paul Van Dyk, Nadia Ali and Victor Calderone. He had a stint as half of Los Angeles-based duo Rome Will Burn, a group that garnered over a million Spotify plays and earned him the opportunity to work closely with Randy Jackson and world-renowned composer David Campbell.

The artist now resides in Las Vegas, a city that, much like his output, embraces both amazing production & futuristic technology. Here he continues to evolve his artistry and spread his music - his true Manifesto in life.

I like a variety of different music including Afro Tribal, Deep Tech-House, Techno, Progressive House & Electro "Lite." In my early days, I liked Breaks, Hard-House & Tech-Trance. I have rocked out the turntables in over 19 US states, México, Austria and in Spain. He has performed with the likes of many International DJ’s including Deadmau5, Paul Ritch, Stacey Pullen, Robbie Rivera, Hernan Cattaneo, DJ Sammy, Infusion, Oscar G, Frankie Bones, Henry Saize, Black Asteroid, Sabb, Franck Roger, No Regular Play, Wbeeza, Saeed Younan, Leko, George Acosta, Majai, Bad Boy Bill, Scott Henry, Breakfastaz, Terry Mullen, Icey, Huda Hudia, Bassnectar & Feelgood to name a few. The list keeps adding up. I have found my niche for many years now with Deep Techy House. When the time is right I might bring up the BPM's and throw down some harder Techno if the vibe permits. Multi-instrumentalist musician was born in Venezuela on July 6th 1983. Fell in love with music at a very early age, and in time, started to develop certain abilities in various instruments such as guitar, Latin percussion instruments like congas, timbales, and auxiliary percussion. As he played in several bands, music became very natural to him and that´s when he started to think of a way in which he could play all this beautiful instruments and create the power of harmony, rhythm and melody. There is no doubt that for this young talented guy, music has definitely become a huge part of his life, soul and identity.

In August 2000, and in pursuit of the American dream, he crossed Venezuelan frontiers and moved to U.S.A (Washington D.C), where at the age of 17 and while attending high school took guitar & music theory lessons. Later on, in college, he took one year of harmony, melody and music composition, and in 2003, his hunger for knowledge, led him to study Latin Jazz in Towson University and to become part of the jazz ensemble, which reinforced his knowledge on the afro Cuban roots, that´s when he got his first Dj Set. For this young, talented, and proactive Venezuelan, the art of mixing came very easy, considering his music foundations, but just knowing how to mix, was never enough for him. Bringing together Midwestern Native American, Black, and South American cultures, Shades Of Play is a Washington DC area-based project comprised of longtime friends Derek Tucker and Felipe Rivera. With sounds ranging from heavy, pulsating, primal rhythms to progressive rock and jazz-influenced fusions; their sounds are a direct result of their roots and explore the broader spectrums of electronic, house, and techno music.
