Started in 2003, the band stays true to Jamaican reggae bringing influences from Brazilian music as well as ska, ragga, dub and r&b. 2009 saw their first EP followed by the debut album "Montanha Da Vida". Reggae a Semente played around Brazil and made their trip to Spain, where they are going to have some festival shows again this year.

NOVA RAÍZ (Brazil)
The founders of Jah Live band started Nova Raiz as their another musical project in 2011. Jah Live perfomed throughout the country and in Europe, won the award "The Best of Reggae 2003" as "Best Group". In 2012 their recorded their first album "Desapego" and made it available for free on the web. In 2014 they performed Spain and were featured on international compilation “Escoita!“.  Same year Bruno Dourado, a great percussionist of Natiruts, the biggest reggae band from Brazil, started to play with Nova Raíz.
