CRUCIFYME makes his FRAKTAL SOUND debut with his latest single VOYAGER/PARKER, adding the Ukrainian artist’s shadowy sonics to the label’s sleek selection of similar sounds. On the single’s A-side, VOYAGER’s distant and dissonant tonalities swirl inexorably into a seething vortex of bassweight before spewing the listener into a glittering arpeggiated soundscape, calling to mind the endless journey of the space probe that shares its name. By contrast, PARKER takes a more consonant melodic approach, rising upon the undulations of a bassline that radiates its rich harmonic character into the outer reaches of the track’s atmosphere, enveloping the listener in a musical space awash in sibilant starlight.

Claiming the sonic expanses within VOYAGER/PARKER as his home, CRUCIFYME marks himself as an intrepid explorer of Drum & Bass’ atmospheric edges and light’s the way for listeners who wish to follow in his footsteps.
