There are names in techno that move like soundwaves through steel. You see them on a lineup, the vinyl’s center-label, blinking on a CDJ readout in some cavernous warehouse, and you just know that there will be a sudden shift in energy. Tensal is one of those names. He doesn’t just contribute to techno, he refines and sharpens it into an edge that you can't resist walking on.
The thing about a Tensal track is that it fits anywhere: among polymetric hypnosis, peak-hour pummeling, late-night machine prayer; always channeling the DNA of classics, but expertly submitted to mutation that always comes with his signature.
Void+1 knew exactly what they were doing when they handed him the keys to their laboratories: "Metaphysical Trauma", is not just an EP, it is one of his most essential blueprints yet; a blueprint for a temporal weapon in disguise, with four tracks in the barrel that hit like excerpts of an alternate timeline where dancefloors were battlegrounds: feral, seductive and unrelenting.
Nostalgia? A catchphrase of yesterday. This is techno's survival instinct. Always functional, but never sterile; operating in the folds of repetition and rupture, between tension and resolve, processed through decades of refinement and tempered by history.

Here we are with the first single EP of the year, signed by goldmund.99 and LUCKY4U, the two minds behind Speedgasm, a DIY-oriented series rooted in Berlin’s emerging trance scene.

This release doesn’t aim to define a genre but to reflect a shared attitude: fast, emotional, raw, shaped by years of playing and experimenting across the more fluid, hybrid corners of trance, free tekno and sub-genres.

Goldmund.99 leans into narrative-driven structures and psychedelic textures, while LUCKY4U brings a sharp sense of contrast and physicality, forming a dynamic interplay of perspectives across the EP.

The sound here is deliberately broad, moving between euphoric build-ups and stripped-down, shadow psy and tribal pressure. The first track-preview of the release will premiere on @internet_ghetto — a fitting channel for a record that sits confidently at the edge.

Having traveled with his wife and two small children to all kinds of interesting and far-flung places Braincell breathed in the magic of our planet while making recordings and mapping out new ideas on a portable studio set up, laying the foundation for this epic ode to the one that nurtures us, Mother Earth in all her glory, GAIA.
