Borealism returns with his Sophomore release on Inner Ocean, ﻿Ripples in the Stream﻿, his most important work to date!  Borealism is on a whole other level when it comes to sculpting sonic worlds, a perfect balance between light and dark.  Opening the album with Grievances and Bewitched, moods both deep and powerful, with bass lines that will bring a tear to your eye.   Delightfully contrasted with Borealism's more ambient side, Fly, Little Blackbird  and Soleil Noir, so incredibly warm and enriched with feeling.  To complete the perfect package we pressed a limited number of LP's, a physical format that perfectly expresses these audio vibes.  

Simple put we love this album!  It's music and artists like this that get us up every morning and do what we do.  Enjoy!

Inner Ocean Records is a platform and collective for emerging artists to release music and visual art. Based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, the label was conceptualized in 2012 as a vehicle for artists to have their music heard and seen, to build a community of passionate people.  We designed the label to be what we would have loved to have as artists ourselves, redefining the rules in an ebb and flow to the changing landscape of music. We have made a conscious commitment to be transparent, adaptable and always for the people.

We are a label for artists, by artists. 

We’ve built the backbone of this label around great sound and feeling; laid back, honest and forever chill. We have released a lot of different sounds; Ambient, Lofi Hip Hop, RnB, Modern Funk, Future Soul and Indie.
