Nightscapes is Deitii’s debut EP on Inner Ocean Record’s Drift label. This two track release begins with Senses Drift, a dreamy soundscape of hypnotic synth drones and sparking swells that transport the listener to higher dimensions of consciousness. True to its name, the journey continues in the EP’s second track, To The Stars, as twinkling bells and calming piano notes dance among airy pads in space.

Nightscapes in its entirety offers the listener a glimpse into the deeper meaning of existence, evoking a sense of mystery that is both strange and familiar at the same time. It is the cosmic companion to Deitii’s first full length album, Landscapes, released on May 20, 2020.

DEITII is a singer/songwriter, DJ, producer, and meditation guide from Santa Ana, California. Honouring her roots as an energy healer and visual artist, each song is a synesthetic landscape painted with sound and love to reflect the beauty of nature and the complexity of human emotions and consciousness.

New Jersey based multi-genre composer and producer Peter Bark presents "Recurring", four long form ambient meditations built around offset loops at odd lengths that evolve and morph with each pass; each moment a new shape and colour.

The resulting 10+ minute meditations reflect Peter Bark's ability to seamlessly infuse electronics with warmth and texture to bring each moment alive with clarity and beauty. "Recurring" imbues a strong sense of place and geography; a forested city park, gentle waves washing against a pier, the quiet murmurs of an art deco era apartment, a sombre evening stroll in the rain.

Far more than your average background or sleep ambient, the listener who takes on "Recurring" with active ears shall be sublimely rewarded. This is the kind of ambient that connects to a part of you and reveals something entirely nameless and new.

Peter Bark has shown time and again that he's very comfortable sitting right in that balanced sweet spot of the ambient world; always focused and original with his own signature sound through modern experimentation blended with nods of the past.

Foxwood is the project of UK-based musician/producer Michael Nelson-Martin.  Sculpting nostalgic soundscapes and melodies inspired by the natural world and fantasy novels, his latest EP “Innocence” and debut on Drift is an ambient/modern classical wonder.  Playful and lighthearted, each song is cloaked in a warmth and beauty with gliding piano, soft synth tones and orchestral longings. Foxwood has tapped into something very human and natural with his compositions, emotion and life experience is baked into each song.

“Innocence” is such a stunning EP, we are now forever fans of Foxwood and will have this EP on repeat while we wait for his next release!

Pennsylvania native Keith Kenniff’s output as Goldmund has established him as one of the preeminent composers of minimal piano-based ambient music alongside peers like Hauschka, Dustin O’Halloran, and even Ryuichi Sakamoto, who himself once described Kenniff’s work as “so, so, so beautiful.”  Hyperbolic as it may sound, Goldmund’s newest collection Occasus may be his most exquisite yet. Where his previous recordings trod faithfully and sincerely on paths of dimly lit, polaroid-esque nostalgia, Occasus deepens the undeniable aesthetic that was hard-won over eight previous Goldmund albums, while expanding the palette to include desultory clouds of synthesizer and a tastefully distressed analog sheen.

The word Occasus means downfall, end, or the rising and falling of heavenly bodies. The title is apt in more ways than one: while the emotional tone of the album denotes bittersweet feelings of conclusiveness, it also perfectly soundtracks the quiet moments when we look up to the sky, and humbly relearn the smallness of our lives as cosmic objects churn slowly overhead with bewitching indifference. Occasus feels deeply personal, private, and hushed yet simultaneously grand, colossal, and profound. Remarkably Kenniff is able to capture micro and macro with equal fidelity.

Late Era is the brand new ambient project by Pacific Northwest producer Oatmello. His first collection of songs 'Atone' are a beautiful blend of Ambient, New Age and Modern Classical. A euphoric drift of the soul, the brand new ambient project Soon creates Midnight, an EP that effortlessly carries you out of the noise and into a perfect dream. Night and Sleepwalk are simple, elegant atmospheric moods, each a subtle shift in space from the other. The third and final track, In My, in collaboration with Bedroom on guitar, carries a similar baseline atmosphere but scattered with reverb clouds of washed guitar tones.

The second piece in the Healing Dreams series. 

Two new songs that were made as a personal remedy for some inner quietude. Between Worlds reflects on the constant duality in our lives, being pushed and pulled in multiple directions, the resulting sound resting somewhere in between heaven and earth; lifted into space while also being firmly planted in the ground below. Composed as a slow build up to a conversation between opposing forces coming together in an open palette. 

Drifting Apart carries forward that conversation, collecting the pieces of ourselves that slowly slip away without our noticing. Life can become a dizzying cloud, scattered and dispersed, hard to capture the view in its entirety and make any sense of it. There is a certain gravity to our being when present and still, through that careful observation we can feel the pieces pull back together, coalesce back into ourselves.
