Colwell recounts logging notebooks full of compositional ideas that were stored away and dug out in 2023 specifically to record a song for the Inner Ocean Records jazz compilation "Colour Theory", pulling together jazz musicians from around the world, pushing the boundaries of jazz today. It represents the peace and tranquility that the artists find when they step out of their home into the green. The pleasant guitar paired with nature sounds and a chill drumloop, should further emphasize this emotional state. As we reconnect with nature, taking a deep breath, listening to birds sing and wind blowing on leaves is one of the best way to relax and feel good. This track is an homage to that feeling.
