My reworking of the set that I played at the ZNA Gathering on August 19, 2022, from 11 am to 130 pm. 

In the weeks and months leading up to event, I was ruminating over various tracks and ended up with about 8 hours in a shortlist for my 2.5 hour set (and I am never restricted to only the ones in the playlist but those are often the ones I feel more drawn to). As I worked on various flows in practice sessions, I was primarily aware of how I wanted to begin and end: starting with a blend of some excerpts from the three unreleased tracks that closed my 2019 Goa Guardians set (with the intention of making the intervening 3 years 'collapse'), paying homage to Olli with the first kicking track of my set and some others, and having Tiny Little Engines be the climax. 

Although I am generally as known for my access to unreleased music as I am for my meandering storylines, this set was a bit different. A lot of artists continually tell me that the released versions were chosen for a reason: because they are great; and while some unreleased edits are of course amazing, lack of availability is not the only reason to play a track. I am constantly amazed by the astounding music that we have in our genre and I wanted to craft an upbeat story for that middle-of-the-day time of my set, so it was this vibe and character that were primary in my selection ... so even if it might seem to some like something of a selection of popular classics with fewer gear changes than I often incorporate into my sets, it's still (in my opinion) 'all killer, no filler' in a sequence that tells a cohesive flow-filled story, and the crowd was certainly beyond enthusiastic in its response.

I've replaced only one of the unreleased tracks I played at the event with the issued version as I know the artists did not want the unissued mix published.

I hope you'll enjoy it as much as I did playing it - it was an unforgettable experience with an incredibly enthusiastic and responsive forest dance floor!

I played a "goa" psychedelic trance set between 01:00-03:00 AM - as a person who likes to party himself i find the night time more "attractive" and interesting with his psychedelic darkish sounds - "a realm of the unknown" ... i was honored to play in the middle of the night - and ive tried my best to create an atmosphere of non compromising lunatic sounds that make you feel like your dancing with demons ...

For me playing a retro DJ set is not about who has what or who collects what
For me a DJ set is a healing journey
It is art
It is a way of life
Retro is something I never touched until now
Not because I did not love it
But because I chose to respect the past and leave it where it belongs
And focus on the sound of today
To break ground in my sets
To create a signature
I thought finding a way to play a meaningful retro set would be difficult
Turns out it is like riding a bike
It found me naturally
Retro takes me back
To the Far East
Early festivals days in Europe
India in the mountains & Goa
Koh Phangan on the beach
Through the long road we walked filming what later became the series To Be Free
nation a documentary on trance in Israel, get beatings by police, and alongside all of that
Innocence’ my unconditional love for trance, for nature, for justice and light, believing  in the power of good and freelancers of the soul
And today, When Yahel my son and his friends all in their twenties’ are going wild over retro trance music, dancefloors exploding in a way that puts a smile on my face, I decided to give them a small taste of my dish
From a crazy period we lived, we were that period, friends artists dreamers, anyone who was there knows, that time lives somewhere between the late eighties and early nineties
Before everything (sound wise) became accurate, precise and too clean, going back to the days that the sound was less perfect, but much warmer...

His first contact with trance music was in 1999 when he was fascinated by the music. After couple of years he started making his own music - and InnerSelf project was born. He released his first EP for UAF Records. After a greatsuccess with his first EP he continues to work with some other labels and he produced couple tracks on several compilations : track ''On The Wild Side'' was released on V.A. Modra Zora ( Cosmic Flower Records ) ,track ''At The Edge Of The Universe'' was released onV.A. Pantheon ( NeoGoa ), track ''The Story Of Milky Way'' was released on V.A. Rajanga for japanese Rajas Records, V.A. Solar Love ( track Magnetic Field Lines ) and on V.A. LSD Connection ( track Shifting Reality ), V.A Call Of Goa ( track Hidden Worlds ) for Ovnimoon Records V.A. Turlitava ( track Life is only a dream ). He also made some colaborations with some other artists like New Born ( Cronomi Records) from Israel and also some new upcoming colaborations . Under the same name, InnerSelf made some chillout and downtempo tracks, latest track is released for one of the biggest labels for psybient and downtempo music - Canadian ALTAR RECORDS, track Rise Of The Earth Keepers.
In the meantime, another chillout/experimental project is born - Far Beyond
