In 1979 Suns of Arqa creator and mentor Michael Wadada set about recording the ground breaking Suns of Arqa album 'Revenge of the Mozabites' with his friend Adrian Sherwood. Together they formed the ‘4D Rhythm’ label – the world was not ready! Wadada retreated to the Pennine mountain range in Lancashire, Adrian Sherwood went on to create the formidable ‘On-U Sound’ label. Three years went by before a a very curious Peter Gabriel came across a rare copy of that first Suns of Arqa album; he was putting together the very first World of Music and Dance festival (WOMAD), and asked Suns of Arqa to come and perform. 

Revenge of the Mozabites is where it all started, this truly eclectic album of world-dub-east-west fusion from Suns of Arqa, ignited what would ultimately become the new World Dub Dance genre which has influenced & inspired so many artists today.

EDX Unveils His "Miami Sunset" Remix of Spada's "Catchfire (Sun Sun Sun)"

EDX announces his "Miami Sunset" remix of Spada’s “Catchfire (Sun Sun Sun)” due out on Monday, July 6th via Ego Music.  With his remix of Sam Feldt’s “Show Me Love” still riding high on the Beatport charts, and garnering even more support as the fifth most Shazam-ed track of this Ibiza season, EDX returns with some serious wind behind his sails for his Ego Music debut.

EDX is a multi-faceted artist, and his numerous production styles shine through in his newest effort. By layering together a piano-driven melody with a deep bass line and uplifting synth arrangements, EDX manages to create a remix of “Catchfire” that walks a fine line between punchy club construction and summertime anthem, finding a perfect middle ground.

Modra Zora ( Cosmic Flower Records ) ,track ''At The Edge Of The Universe'' was released onV.A. Pantheon ( NeoGoa ), track ''The Story Of Milky Way'' was released on V.A. Rajanga for japanese Rajas Records, V.A. Solar Love ( track Magnetic Field Lines ) and on V.A. LSD Connection ( track Shifting Reality ), V.A Call Of Goa ( track Hidden Worlds ) for Ovnimoon Records V.A. Turlitava ( track Life is only a dream ). He also made some colaborations with some other artists like New Born ( Cronomi Records) from Israel and also some new upcoming colaborations . Under the same name, InnerSelf made some chillout and downtempo tracks, latest track is released for one of the biggest labels for psybient and downtempo music - Canadian ALTAR RECORDS, track Rise Of The Earth Keepers.
In the meantime, another chillout/experimental project is born - Far Beyond
