Your favourite futuristic dance duo Bop x Subwave are back on Hospital Records with their highly awaited debut album ‘Renaissaince’. Following on from the huge successes of their previous EPs ‘Love and Other Drugs’ and ‘Dream On’ which furthered solidified their commendable reputation in the electronic music scene, the pairing’s first-ever collaborative longplayer consists of 14 tracks which perfectly demonstrate their creative mastery and unmatched abilities to experiment with various styles spanning indie electronic, lo-fi jungle, garage, techno and more.

Romanian DJ/producer BOg returns on John Digweed’s legendary Bedrock imprint with his single, ‘Rakuten’. With releases on Crosstown Rebels, Bedrock Records and a upcoming release on Get Physical, this 24 years young artist already managed to get himself a respected place in the international house scene. 

‘Rakuten’ perfectly showcases what the young Romanian is capable of. A dreamy 9 minute storyteller which slowly builds to it’s peak. It’s easy to hear why this track get's heavily played by John Digweed himself. Already released on vinyl, the digital release is set for the 17th of July on Bedrock Records.

Chained to a ladder: There’s no way up. There’s no way down. You’re hung on a rung and there’s there no place to escape as Dino Lenny delves into your innermost psyche with this heavy slice of pedigree Italian electronica. A Darkroom Dubs debut from the original craftsman, ‘Chained To A Ladder’ is ominous in its mood and tone, dramatic in its new romantic vocal style and uncompromised with its devilish analogue aesthetic.

Remix-wise we’re unquestionably spoilt as label bosses Silicone Soul unleash their first production of the year with an immense 9+ minute cosmic bluesy stew, cooked slow and low with deep psychedelic flavours. A version that develops the original’s story in a stark way; this is what remixes were invented for.

Last but not least, Dino seals the deal with ‘The Right Place’. A broken drum mutant powered by technoid rocket fuel, its breakbeats drive a writhing groove that’s awash with touches of classic electro, new beat and hardcore with dark broadsword bass sweeps. Splashed with sudden blasts of synth colour, Dino’s signature sense of contrast is visceral, focused and direct. A true homage to every genre’s foundations and salute to the future; tremors can be felt from techno to drum & bass.

As the recently released ‘Darkroom Dubs Volume IV’ celebrated the last few years of releases, Dino sets the scene for another exciting chapter for the label. A chapter that will see the label continue to explore its signature atmospheric late-night sounds and celebrate its 15th anniversary this year. We’ll leave you hanging right here…

The Saqqara EP is a multilayered, sonic canvas from the mind of Chris Barratt, as he launches his new alias, Barratt, for Life and Death. Fine brushstrokes move from all areas of his musical hideout, spreading over five, varied, aural sculptures, each one warping and weaving on its own cosmic trajectory. Pooling from key aspects of his Eagles & Butterflies project, Barratt induces new musical shades, hinting at moments of disco and funk, through a lens of psychedelia. 

The title track is a late-night floor-filler - a bold yet uniquely personal necropolis built from riveting delays and arpeggiators. Time Bending sees DJ Tennis join in, stepping up with his trademark, rough around the edges production aesthetic, en route to unknown destinations. Barratt hones-in on a confident, stripped-down style on Khaos - rhythm versus melody -  just in time for festival season. 1983 soundtracks a ride to utopia on a rocket-fueled Vespa, leading to Collider, the land of un-quantised madness, where the most treasured of synthesisers live amongst their drum machine counterparts. 

Flowing yet incredibly interconnected, Saqqara is best interpreted as a mini artist album - the first of many Barratt offerings.

Hailing from Barcelona and now residing in Bali this latest release brings Cleave Martinez to the label for the first time with his fresh and jumping two track EP. Today we premierthe title track No Way Back, which showcases Cleave's heavily bass grooved focused arrangements, crisp production and uplifting stabs and vocal elements.

Next up for Maeve we welcome the very talented Italian duo, Underspreche to the label, delivering a 4 track EP including a remix from label founder The Drifter. 

Underspreche first caught our attention back in 2016 with the release of their mini album "Invito Alla Danza" on Optimo Trax, a record that possesses the captivating mixture of ethno vocals & sounds with a raw house dynamic. From there they continued to impress with their unique twist on many prominent House and Techno jams through their Experiments series. We are thrilled to have worked with them to bring you this EP and who better to describe the record than Underspreche themselves...

"We think every kind of art has an important role in our lives because of the magical power it has inside. Positive art can be profound, produce questions, show us new perspectives, transform feelings and connect people telepathically. If this is not magic??!! Taking inspiration from Alejandro Jodorowsky's work we did our own “music act” with this record, trying to ease our inner sorrow through musical poetry and freeing our voice. Inspiration from other cultures always help develop our work which as ever, is fuelled by a deep love for what we do."

For our second release of the year, we welcome Hamburg pairing, Cosmo & Kramer. Appearing on the first edition of our ‘Solid(e) State’ various artists series last year, they provided us with the impressive and wholesome arpeggio roller ‘Last Government’.
A track that stayed firmly in our hearts and minds ever since, we just had to bring the guys back for a solo EP, full of Cosmo & Kramer goodness. Taking shape on Solide014, Cosmo & Kramer land with their ‘Bingo Fun’ EP, comprising three tracks laced with exuberant nu-disco energy.
The shimmering, bongo-led title track ‘Bingo Fun’ ignites with a sure glow of high-tempo, dancefloor spirit; a delectable feast of punchy kicks and crisp snares. Digging deep on ‚Really?’, Cosmo & Kramer’s emotive synth work takes hold, soaring with cinematic effect, before closing out with ‘Bonus Romance’. A bubbling end to the story, ‘Bonus Romance’ sees the spell of C&K cast via glistening melody and the harmonising of lush percussive elements.
A truly pleasurable addition to the Solide family, ‘Bingo Fun’ EP offers up a swirling dancefloor love affair, sure to conjure moments of warmth and togetherness that live far beyond the club.
