Compost Records is set to release five remixes for several tracks from Fred und Luna. The two mannequins from Karlsruhe have invited renowned guests to a night of the round vinyl. Among the remixers are Peter Kruder, Mathew Jonson, In Flagranti, Mennert & StriCt, and Dodi Palese. The latter on “Polytonikum” and turning it into a rhythmic dance floor delight.

After Volume 5 of our Various Artist series „Lost Tapes“, AEON continues with a strong EP from family member, Jepe. The Portuguese born, Berlin living DJ & producer returns with „Ginevra“, after his well received debut EP „Restless Soul“ in 2020.
Ginevra... a queen, woman and a city. Jepe says: „The track is somehow an Ode to Europe women and the beauty of the city“, to which he traveled to with his wife and daughter. „The arpeggio and the strings bring you back to the XVI century of classical music“, he claims, „while the break and its synth take you to the modern and technologic part of the city." 
Transcord - the secret A-side - of this diverse EP brings back 80ies/Italo influenced sound, though with a modern feel. For this track, Jepe teamed up with his mate Joal. The strong synthesizer sequence - slowly building up by layering more and more Oscillators - set the fundament for this grooving Dancefloor beast, while chopped vocals and chords gives this tune the last polish to be a weapon.
The EP is closed with „Salicornia“. The track is named after a plant that grows on salty waters. Same as the plant the tune is flowing in a more calm, but not less affective way. Different than „Ginevra“ & Transcord“ it has a more mystic vibe, diving in deeper areas of your soul, letting you float between the moods of mornings at the end of a club night.

Sticking with their Italian heritage, the Sicilian Engrave Ltd imprint brings you an EP brimming with Italo disco, electro and new wave flavours. Titled 'Intergalactico', the 4-track EP comes from the hands of new moniker Phunkadelica, and includes a remix by Man Power. Timeless beats, spicy snares, tec-no-logical fills, hyperbolic arpeggiators are a few of the components featured in their manifesto, already supported by Marvin & Guy and Dixon in their sets.

A persistent detuned bass, recurring fluid envelopes and hypnotic triplets define the first production on the EP - 'Intergalactico', which you can hear bellow. The vocoder stirs a technological daydream in the midst of it. As the other tracks feature a exciting combo of 80's underground nostalgia and experimental, break-beat Italo goodness, it sounds like there is much more to be expected from Phunkadelica.

The Keinemusik affiliates Reznik and Good Guy Mikesh team up again for their four tracker The Moon Landing Was A Hoax on New York's finest 2MR. The EP, namely referring to the moon landing in 1969 and doubting the same, includes the Justin Strauss praised title track that he insisted to be released after it had caused excessive dance floor damage in the artist's set at Panorama Bar. With the original take being released a few days back, it's time for Justin Strauss' and Max Pask to provide us with their Each Other remix approach. After their heavily in-demand release Be Nice To Each Other on DEEWEE the New Yorkers touch the Acid-influenced hypno-space-anthem and add their bouncey bass line magic. The remix continiously keeps rolling with bleeps flying rocket-like through a low and mid-frequency storm until the jet propulsion of the aforementioned is slowed down to give space for a jolt of euphoria. The out of space vocals then unfold charming 90s feel to create the first hit of the 20s.
