Hyponova combines electronic and acoustic instruments, performing live, meditative soundscapes. Fluid lineup includes Drew Arthur on saxophone and SOMA Cosmos looping station, Scott Lemire on guitar, Barbara Mack on keyboards and cello, and Chris Volpe on the SOMA Cosmos and Lyra-8 organismic synthesizer, and electric and acoustic guitars. Hyponova is a side project by visual artist, writer, and teacher Chris Volpe (www.christophervolpe.com).
