Parallel Universe

For this the Moog Spectravox had my attention, I was having problems in my studio and something wasn't quite right with this unit. Fearing I had a faulty machine I removed from the rack and tested from my desk. The problem was discovered to be the cable from the synth to the mixer. A much less expensive fix. It can be heard very clear at the end of this piece.

Donde siempre

Planet Confusionn is a Jazz Fusion track and collaboration between myself and good friend John Corsaro. John sent me the track played as a single take, I then added everything else and mixed it, eventually producing what we have here. 
John is an incredible drummer and percussionist and it is my great honour to be able to join with him again on this track. The track was originally recorded around ten years ago.

🎧 *Epic Journey – The Return of the Fearless Warriors* by Inoxx (2025 Remaster) This piece began with a single chord — F augmented with a B — after watching the train scene in *Spirited Away*. Its rhythm builds like *Tonight We Fly* by The Divine Comedy, and its strings echo the fragility of *Rain* by Ryuichi Sakamoto.


 Composed in the late 2000s on Reason 3.5 or 4.0, it lived quietly online… until I discovered it had been licensed under a different name — with a credit that no longer belongs to me. This version gives it back its original voice. 🎹 *Cinematic. Melancholic. Untamed.* 💬 *If it sounds familiar, or you’ve heard it elsewhere — feel free to reach out.* 



Epic Journey - the return of fearless warriors (2025 remaster)

It seems that each season has its own "perfume of mystery".  In a typical Texas panhandle spring, it is Lilac and Russian Olive that perfume the air.  In the deep South, Magnolias are hypnotically fragrant.  In summer it is the fresh, petrichor air after a rainstorm, or a newly-mown field of hay.  In the fall there is a pungency of fallen leaves as they are raked into piles, and as the days grow cooler, smoke from a fireplace during an evening walk. It is an odor that grows stronger and crisper as winter sets in and the sweet scent of pine with the setting up of Christmas trees.  Dan wanted to capture this "perfume of mystery" with his unique composing and keyboard skills and invited me to come along. Thank you my friend for inviting me.
