Bruno is a musician and producer based in Buenos Aires, Argentina. His eclectic music taste has taken him a long way through diverse sounds from different genres and cultures, but always craving to express his unique identity. Degreed guitarist and musician, having grown up influenced from a very early age by rock and alternative legends, he came across the electronic music scene of Buenos Aires, and instantly became obsessed with audio production and sound design, which then would become his profession by working as a freelance producer, performer and composer. To date Bruno has released music in labels of the techno scene from around the world like Out of Place, Kobold, Concepto Hipnotico, just to name a few. His sound is characterized by being a mix of abstract and dark harmonies with intricate rhythms and variable dynamics. On October 29th, flash floods devastated much of the southern and western areas of the Valencia province, along with several other regions in Spain. This catastrophic event brought storm surges, collapsing bridges, and left thousands stranded on roads and streets, ultimately leading to a death toll that is now estimated in the hundreds and, tragically, still rising.

Homes, animal shelters, businesses, personal property, and families have all suffered immensely from this disaster—an event that caught thousands out on the streets, commuting to and from school, work, and daily life, with little to no warning. Severe alerts reached our phones 10 hours later, leading to even greater tragedy.

“Germanor,” our word for “brotherhood,” embodies the spirit of this compilation. We aim to reach out and support our city and those who have been far less fortunate than ourselves.

We are incredibly grateful to have such a diverse and talented community of music makers in the city, who have generously donated their work to aid in relief efforts. Our hearts go out to all those who have suffered loss.

Simultaneously, it initiates physical responses such as heartbeat, breathing, goosebumps, and the release of dopamine and serotonin. Within musical experience, the amygdala allows us to sense the emotional undertones of others intuitively, even before the mind can interpret them. This process is known as affective empathy.
