IS 151 - Tom Joyce [Überground, Superb Recordings]

As a youngster Bruno Mange Disque vibrates on the 70's/80's synthetic music (Kraftwerk, Ultravox, MARRS ...)and rediscovers the electronic music during the 90's (rave, clubbing) then he develops his tastes for disco, house music, techno and their connected styles.
During the long mix sessions of Laurent Garnier, he understands that musical selection is essential for the quality of a set.

BMD is a sonic "gourmet", he likes to use different styles in his mixes (funk, early-electro, disco, house, techno ...), 
in particular digging into safe bets labels back-catalogues (Cutting records, Prelude,  Mute, Strictly Rythm, Metroplex ...)
and also from the emergent labels releases (MCDE, Stilove4music, MyLoveIsUnderground ...) full of rare and effective house tracks or disco edits from obscurs and cult tracks

BMD organises the "Vibration Electronique" parties since 2011 and is now part of "Vibration Unlimited" crew.

BMD organise les soirées Vibration Electronique depuis 2011 et fait partie maintenant du collectif 'Vibration Unlimited".

DJ since early 2000, Tom Joyce was first noticed in Paris with his residence at la Java where he received the very best of the international scene during 4 years (Losoul, Audio werner, Dario Zenker, Lowtec, XDB, ..), which earned him regular performances at Rex Club, but also at Concrete, Tresor or Griessmhüle in Berlin.

He is now label owner of @sounds-benefit-records where he’s developing his own vision of music, between house, techno and electro. S-Max, Alex Picone, Phil Evans, XDB, Kosh or Seuil, as many talented artists who have already trusted him by joining his catalog, and have allowed the label to shine internationally, especially during Sunwaves 2018 where the last release was played by Sonja Moonear, Rhadoo and Raresh.

As a producer, Tom has to his credit several EP and appearances on V/A, and refines bit by bit his own style. Playlisted by Craig Richards and Seth Troxler, his productions sail between electro-oriented Detroit, house and techno, like his DJ sets.
