Jeder braucht ein Zuhause. Ein Ort an dem man sich vollkommen entfalten und wohlfühlen kann. Ein Platz zum abschalten, zum Freunde treffen und an dem man seine gewohnte Umgebung hat.
Durch die Cocoon-Schließung 2012 fiel dieser Platz unserem liebsten KAROTTE weg. Kein Grund um sich solch einen Ort in einer anderen Stadt zu suchen. Somit hat sich KAROTTE zusammen mit dem BAD BOYS CLUB und PEAK eine neue Home-Base gesucht und diese schnell im Günes Theater gefunden.

Mit der Veranstaltungsreihe 'AS YOU LIKE IT' macht er es uns so, wie es UNS gefällt! An drei Dates im Jahr bereitet er uns exklusive DJ-Sets, welche die einzigen im Rhein-Main-Gebiet sein werden. Für ein rundum perfektes Musikprogramm, läd er sich seine liebsten DJ-Freunde ein, denn Karotte mag es, wenn es UNS gefällt!

He also creates the artwork and accompanying music videos for All Day I Dream and listed's PLAY events. By night, he's a man of the beats, with a sonic signature that can be described as uniquely Hoj: melodic but heavily beat-driven, chugging, bouncing.

Your physical movement is an inevitability, whether it be on dance floors the world over, including in front the Robot Heart bus and Panorama Bar, or simply your office chair. Sandwell Districtに通ずる爆撃のような硬質のインダストリアル・ビート、幾重にも織り重ねられた細やかでとろけるようなダブ的音響処理がほどこされた上音、そしてうねり舞いあがる魔術的グルーヴをあわせもち、不穏な未来を啓示するかのようなアポカリプティック（終末、黙示録）な音を鳴らしている。
未曾有の大震災から丸1年の2012年3月、初来日を果たし、DOMMUNE、nu things、UNITでのプレイは独創性と想像力にあふれており新たな時代の到来を予感させるには十分であった。その後、MNMLSSGSにアップされたロングMIXを皮切りに、いくつものMIX音源がアップされ、アップされるたびに世界中から新鮮な驚きと賛辞を持って迎えられている。また、2013年2月と2014年1月のUNITでの来日時には息を飲むのも忘れるほど壮大で強烈なロングセットを披露し真価を発揮、その評価を揺るぎのないものとする。

-このミックスのコンセプトやアイデアなどあれば教えてください。

-このGigは私にとって日本で初めてのOpen to Lastのロングセットでした。映像を気鋭の映像作家・Pedro Maiaが担当し、コンセプトは音楽を通じ人間の精神の深さを探るというものでした。私たちには様々な景色を描き出し、そして、人々の意識を変え感情を解放させるには十分な時間がありました。


-近況を教えてください。

-Cassegrain, Mike Parker, Claudio PRC, and TM404のRemixを制作しました。そして、現在、自身の12インチをリリースするために集中しています。これは日本に触発されたものなので、日本のみんなが気に入ってくれるといいな！
