Alexander has been taken his first steps as a producer in 2009. Together with his mate he was celebrating first successes as „Mode B“ as well as of the imprint 'Ideological Records' which he’s running with Indieveed and Makson.

Beside divers Collaborations Alexander felt in 2013 that time has come to start something on his own, something which outputs his expeditions on the dark in sense of unknown sides of his moon. The tender chosen artist name Mondkrater reflects perfectly the very special way of Alexanders music: soul-floated melodic electronic dance music

The depth of his sounds, the mood of composition, the driving but melodic atmosphere with its special bluesy moments and lately the variety as well as the quality of Mondkraters music already has been discovered by divers well-known underground institutions like Proton Music, Ryan Davis’ Klangwelt, Strom:Kraft Radio and Traumwelten Records. The increasing support by artists like Dominik Eulberg, Stephan Bodzin and Microtrauma shows him that he’s on the right way walking over the moon.

We present you Monkrater's debut on our label. And we can say this is a stunning debut. Easily these tracks are on the top of what we released so far. This EP also comes with a remix EP that will be released a bit later.

Mondkrater - Aphelion

Having turned out two hazy, driving EPs of muffled techno for Lobster Theremin sub-label Mörk, nthng arrives on Pacific Command for a rare two track exploration of gritty Dutch rave and rolling trance-y techno. 

Are You Here takes an up-tempo booted-bucket drum shuffle and steadily filters it's way into a skittering hat furore, all coated with epic pads and a demi-hoover rave stab. Full fire-alarm business. 

On the flip nthng takes serious influence from early trance and techno with the warehouse-crushing In The Afterglow. Constructed on the back of an early 90's hard house-esque alien synth patterns and rolling wildly into the deepest depths of the forest rave, until the long-awaited sunlight pads come bursting through the leaves.

NORITE is proud to present you "Hypnose", an ambient techno release by 90 (Quatre-Vingt-Dix). Florent Laplace aka 90 blesses us with two cinematic beat-driven cuts. "Hypnose" is a trip into some scandinavian forest. Elegant, dark and sparse, these two tracks delicately merge ambient techno and broken beats. Foreign Material’s take on "Hyp" is a testimony of his love for acid deep-techno, while Lunar Convoy turns "Nose" into an rusty warehouse anthem.

"Young artist Charlotte de Witte continues to bolster a credible catalogue of tough, no-nonsense Techno with the introduction of her second solo EP for Tiga’s extolled Turbo Recordings. 

With a recent nod from Alan Fitzpatrick who included her Weltschmerz (Melodic Theme) in his recent Fabric mix she is an artist with a penchant for dark and moody atmospherics. Now - after her inclusion in the recent 12-track VA on Suara - the previously gold-selling Ghentian producer follows up her collaboration with Oscar & The Wolf and her first solo EP on London’s Bad Life with Sehnsucht: a bold four-track record packed with burly kick drums, steely synth tones and hypnotic vocal sampling primed for discerning big-room crowds. Also included in the package is a ruthless remix from Suara boss Coyu.

The title track is an apocalyptic march propelled by a purposeful kick and an unapologetic clap that keeps the pressure up throughout before ‘My Feeling’ lays a circling, hypnotic vocal over scuttling claps and luminous, flashing hi hats. 

Coyu then steps in with his take on ‘My Feeling’, pushing it into overdrive and marrying brash, white-noise snare drums with shuddering hats and vocal snippets. 

‘Enough’ then sets sharp drums knocking against cold and capacious textures before a disquieting and arresting vocal suffuses the track to stunning effect. ‘Den Ganzen Abend’ then brings the record to a sinister close as a pellucid German vocal sample is set creeping over an ineffably weighty low-end sitting it comfortably on the floor of Berghain and capping off another coup for a consistently reliable label and an artist firmly on her ascent."

For its sophomore release, vinyl only record label, Modeight prepares a special VA: "Modification 01" that firmly establishes the label's unique fingerprint in putting out some of the finest minimal cuts in the Eastern European underground circuit. University Of Nowhere present "Ja Z," a record that features a smooth ominous chord brooding in the background while a thick bassline carves out the rest of this atmospheric take. Bucharest's Olivian Nour presents a fierce minimal breaks groove in "Elaborat" that uses pulsating percussive textures placed on top of a powerful minimalist bassline. Over on the B-Side, Germany's Durrrred returns to Modeight with a punchy bass groove that ascends into a clear flow of micro percussive pieces and a calm, swelling pad quietly reveals itself from behind the rhythm. Svet holds its minimal techno roots close in "The Astral Traveler." A dense, hypnotizing, low end is the focal point as the bass growls from measure to measure eager to break out from behind the filter. This collection is ready to go right out of the sleeve for the best afterhours around the world.

Man O To from the elusive producer NU is finally set to be released as a single on Crosstown Rebels. Since its inclusion on Acid Pauli’s Get Lost Compilation in 2012 the track has clocked up tens of millions of Youtube hits and now heralds in a much coveted artist album due later this year. Remix treatment comes from Parisian producer ​Pépé Bradock and live artist Be Svendsen.

A nomad of modern times, ​NU​ has travelled the continents with his diverse music to unearth his imitable style. Repres​ented heavily in ​Man O To, where instruments amalgamate with electronic production to become solid rhythms. An extra spark come from its lyrics, outtakes from an old Persian poem from the well known poet Rumi, who speaks of true happiness in love here performed by Ghazal Shakeri from an original recording made by renowned French composer Armand Amar.

Julien Auger aka ​Pépé Bradock​ is a widely respected producer best known for his anthemic releases on French label Kif Recordings which are still sampled heavily to this day. As a DJ, he has spun in almost every major club in the world and is known for his versatile, and mesmerising style. Bradock conjures a trippy remix and dub version of ​Man O To and fitting ode to the original.

Be Svendsen​ aka Lasse Bruhn Svendsen broke through into the international scene in 2014 with a series of productions and enchanting live performances at some of the most avant garde places to play on the earth, such as BOOM festival, Fusion, Burning Man, Symbiosis, Rainbow Serpent and AfrikaBurn. ​“‘Man O To’ is a track that has touched th​ e hearts of many, including my own,’ Svendsen explained.​ ‘Being asked to add a new chapter to its story is both an honor and my greatest challenge to date.”

Diego Krause is an artist and label owner who was born in Berlin’s eastern districts during the high times of early synthesizer music as created by the likes of Kraftwerk and Jean Michel Jarre. Growing up in the nineties, he witnessed, first-hand, the golden era of hip-hop and spent his formative years as a producer making hip-hop beats before making the transition to house music.

Diego is co-owner of the Beste Modus imprint, with his partners Cinthie, Stevn.aint.leavn and Ed Herbst and he runs with cinthie also, Unison Wax, as an outlet for his own productions. He recently released a killer EP with Apollonia, entitled ‘Right About Now’, and has released original material and remixes on Adult Only, Organic Music and Rough Recordings.

Diego’s sound is influenced by funk and soul, garage, deep house and everything in-between that is both underground and raw. He has taken his sounds all over Europe and beyond – playing at clubs like Watergate and About Blank in his hometown Berlin along with appearances in Lyon, Strasbourg, Paris, Zurich and more… His DJ-sets are powered by driving basslines with a raw nineties texture and techy flourishes, while always retaining a groovy, jacking vibe.
