RADO, miembro del equipo del sello de electro “Noise to meet you”, nos regaló este set lleno de elegancia que cautivó al público desde el primer corte, una selección especial llena de delicadeza y que nos puso a bailar bien rápido. When we first covered Les Chaos Ambiants, it was clear they weren’t aiming for the usual festival formula. Instead of big stages and brand sponsorships, they’re focused on how electronic music and art can interact with local identity and environmental urgency. For 2025, the festival returns to Sommant, right in the Morvan Regional Natural Park, continuing to build on this concept. There’s still just one stage, no clashes, no sprinting between acts, but now there’s added weight on multidisciplinary art, from Adrien Lamm’s sculptural installations by the lake to workshops exploring endangered species through sound and visual design.

The lineup remains eclectic but united by atmosphere, curated once again by Alfonso Pomeda, who’s also the artistic mind behind Barcelona’s Mostra Festival. The full lineup for 2025 includes ABSIS, Alcachofa, Avsluta, Faery, Fran Campos, Lynne , Merovee, Metshka Pampo, Myles Dillon, Nems-B, Orsu, Owl, Toé, and Sybil. Les Chaos Ambiants seems designed for people who treat listening as an experience in itself, a festival where silence and subtlety can carry as much weight as rhythm or volume. Which brings us naturally to one of this year’s standout additions.

Let’s be honest: some artists play music; others change the room around you. Owl belongs firmly in the second camp. Just a few weeks ago, he opened the infamous “La Cabaña”, the ambient and experimental temple at Perpendicular Festival, with a set steeped entirely in lush, enveloping ambient. It was a lesson in subtle power, transforming a cavernous space into something intimate and weightless. It wasn’t flashy, but it left everyone exhaling like they’d just remembered how to breathe. Owl’s ability to craft this atmosphere without ever sounding forced makes him a perfect fit for Les Chaos Ambiants. Here’s an artist who understands that music in a pine forest doesn’t need to shout. Delayed x Les Chaos Ambiants: Owl

"Beneath the glow of Aura, psychedelic visions and downtempo currents entwine, pulling the night into a shared dream. Time bends softly as rhythms breathe, weaving a thread between bodies and light. Every moment feels both endless and fleeting — a dance suspended in its own gravity. The room becomes its own universe, and no one wants to leave."

Rochelle (@kittinrochelle) is a Barcelona-based artist, by way of Houston → New York. She has been a dynamic force in the community for over 15 years, championing dance floors and DJ booths alike. Embracing music that defies traditional boundaries, Rochelle explores soundscapes that travel through the raw energy of acid, breaks, garage, electro and house, lately slowing into deep, psychedelic downtempo that bends time and blurs the edges of perception. Each track is found through patient digging, chosen for the way it stirs something just out of reach. Her sets unfold with quiet intent, guiding the room through shifting narratives and unspoken connections. Rochelle finds versatility shaped by perspective, every selection made with purpose; weaving through moods that feel surprising yet precise.

Today's guest mix arrives as the perfect soundtrack to these scorching summer days that seem to stretch on endlessly, capturing the vibrant energy and laid-back vibe of the season. We welcome Vakula, a leading figure in the Ukrainian electronic music scene.

The journey began in 1998, behind the decks of a local radio station, where Vakula played drum & bass and trip-hop sets for a handful of night listeners. By 2004, he was already diving into the deep waters of dub techno, drawn not by fashion, but by a persistent inner frequency.
Soon after, Vakula moved to the capital — a city now at war — where he spent eleven formative years. The original plan was simple: earn enough money to reach a Buddhist monastery in Tibet. But life, borders, and timing had other ideas. Instead, he stayed and followed sound.
Over the years, Vakula became part of the underground scene, eventually becoming a resident at iconic clubs such as Propaganda and Zeppelin, while also playing in many of the legendary venues of that era. By 2008, music had turned into a passport, taking him across continents to places where electronic sound truly thrived.
Genre was never a boundary. Jazz, rock, hip-hop, ambient, house, techno, drum & bass — everything served the same purpose: to explore, to feel, to connect. In 2011, he returned to his small hometown and built an analog studio, carving out space to listen more deeply.
Over time, the surface of the global scene began to feel thinner, less sacred. In 2020, he stepped back from performance and immersed himself in a three-year exploration of shamanic practices — not for spectacle, but for personal insight. This inner work changed his relationship with sound, and opened up new levels of depth, stillness, and presence in his music.
By 2025, Vakula let go of the path of the spirits, realizing that some stories are not his to walk. Vakula returned, not to where he started, but to a clearer understanding of his role: to keep listening, to keep creating, and to stay honest in sound.
Through it all, Vakula remains one of the early pioneers and enduring voices in the Ukrainian electronic scene — not the mainstream one, but a world of his own: where forest replaces the city center, where meadows stand in for mindless entertainment, and where trees are steadier than fleeting friendships. His connection to Ukraine has never been about slogans. It’s a quiet, unwavering love — for the land, for the people who still feel, and for his hometown of Konotop, which lives in every frequency he shapes.

The haze of Paral·lel festival has barely lifted, but we’re rewinding to another moment worth lingering on, February in Granada, at the Moonback club. There, under the warm glow of the Extramostra banner, Mostra linked up with the Klub Collective for a night that balanced local soul with an international touch. The lineup reads like a heads-only dream: Timnah, Antonio Vázquez, Refracted, and a solid core of Klub Collective residents including Fran Acosta, Kaizen, and Utopian. The kind of night that reminded us why the first slot matters more than most people admit. It’s the architectural role: shaping the night’s flow from zero.

Utopian did just that. His set unfolds like a slow exhale, dub-laced ambient that creeps, swells, and gradually transforms into chugging, low-slung techno hypnosis. It’s a patient climb: syncopated, restrained, precise. Not a single cheap move, just deep focus and floor logic, the kind that sets the table without stealing the meal. But make no mistake, this was a statement. A warm-up that didn’t just support the night, but elevated it.

2025-07-15 - E L A invites PJENNÉ

Continuum: a coherent whole characterized as a collection, sequence, or progression of values or elements varying by minute degrees.

There are moments in time that encapsulate and represent everything this project stands for. Connection through music, friendship, trust and creativity. Sharing via sound and etching magical moments and experiences in our minds. And thanks to Perpendicular, we might run out of space to store these experiences sooner than we thought. 

Some times music can't be explained and moments can't be captured. But also, some other times, someone was thoughtful enough to record. And luckily, this time, the latter happened, and we have been blessed with the opportunity to share this one of a kind performance. 

Alex, Javi and Joan are a treasure. Connectors, multipliers, and those special types of characters that make all of us grow a bit more. They nurture people and scene around them. And this time, they chose to tell the story of the story that was going on and at the story place itself.  Of course, with their twist. With an approach to art that does not compromise on craftsmanship to deliver a witty, psychedelic and mind altering performance.

This live is a heartfelt tribute to our favourite room in Perpen — a truly magical space.

It is from this very place that a parallel story arises — one absent from Cervantes’ written pages, yet whispered among the wisest and most hidden tongues. They say that once, during a peculiar detour and a wildly psychedelic journey, Sancho Panza and Don Quixote stumbled upon “La Cabaña”.

There, a druid and a paladin — as if summoned from some arcane legend — welcomed them warmly and invited them to spend the night. What followed, it is said, did not unfold in La Mancha, but in this very sanctuary of surreal encounters and mystical energy.

This tale is not found in the official texts, yet it lives on through oral tradition, echoed like a folk myth among those who know where to listen.

We are also sharing the English (Old-style) translation of the story (spoken word), as it is recited in Castilian Spanish.
