As we keep navigating the musical constellation of The Continuum, we finally get to explore the sounds of an artist that we love and respect. Whether through co-founding Delayed or his “Sundays are for…” series… you should already know who we are talking about. We welcome Hue to our channel! 

Zach is a fellow music lover or maybe should I say obsessed. One of those that would and does cross the ocean to join events and discover new sounds. We met at Parallel last year, and I finally got to see him play (twice) last month. “Sundays are for…” is a true classic when it comes to ambient and soothing sounds, and many of you might have thought that this is what Hue is about… but let me tell you something, Fridays are for Hue too! 

The magic happened during the HOC x Delayed event at Laut last month. Hue on the closing slot, and the rest is history. We couldn’t be happier to host this recording, a masterclass from Hue on high energy selection, with an eclectic and diverse set. Walking the line between brainy and cheeky fun. One that left us with a smile in our face (and wishing the event went on for a couple hours more).

With the dog days of summer in full swing, we're really excited to welcome Iffie from Athens as our special guest for the 316th episode of the Deep Breakfast Series.

Iffie is a dj & founder of “Into The Abyss” podcast series, based in Athens.
Her sound explores dark and deep elements with an affinity for modern techno.
She loves making her sets as cohesive as possible, intertwining ambient & deep techno by leaving no room for sudden transitions.
In 2020 she founded “Into The Abyss”. Through her widely-acclaimed platform she contributes to the scene with podcasts & premieres of new releases, promoting & supporting various artists & labels.

Deep Breakfast 317 ~ Verveine

For our 99th edition, we’re honoured to host Belgian producer Owl, whose meditative mix feels like a balm for overstimulated minds. Known for his collaborations as Glÿph (with Clearlight) and OZOH, Owl has been crafting deep sonic journeys since 2013 - seamlessly blending ambient, autonomic, and deep techno into a sound that’s as introspective as it is expansive.

With releases on some of our favorite labels like Silent Season, re:st, Lowless, and Huinali, Owl is a master of subtle textures and emotions. His mix for Unrush gently guides you through beautiful soundscapes and soothing atmospheres - the perfect companion to unwind, reset, and breathe a little deeper. It might just become your best friend in stressful times.

We’re taking a short summer break and will return in September with our 100th mix. Until then, let Owl’s sound world carry you through the quieter moments...

Welcome to episode #113 - Dylan Thomas

Brussels-based producer and DJ with Irish roots, Dylan Thomas is known for crafting immersive, genre-defying electronic music. His sound blends elements of ambient, techno, and experimental electronics, always guided by a strong conceptual drive and an instinct for emotional depth. His debut LP, We Don’t Own, We Create, released on the forward-thinking label @futurepastnosenseoftime , captures his philosophy as both a musician and a creator: resisting rigid definitions in favor of constant evolution and sonic exploration.
Dylan has built a solid presence in the Belgian underground scene, with performances at iconic venues such as @fusebrussels and @c12brussels . Whether through his productions or his DJ sets, he invites listeners into a soundscape that is hypnotic, textured, and always in motion.

"In a quiet corner of a small Japanese town, She drifts to sleep under soft neon lights. When she wakes, the clouds are floating gracefully around the full moon, and time itself seems paused.
She steps outside and walks through  alleys bathed in warm lantern glow. Around her, reality seems to fold gently , blending dimensions in soft, fluid patterns. The city feels  familiar but strangely distant, as if she’s moving between layers of a dream.
As dawn breaks, birds hang motionless in the sky. She slowly falls into sleep as the first light touches the horizon.
She awakens again,back at her desk. The city is alive once more, and time flows forward. Later, as she walks through the waking streets, an old man steps  out of the shadows — an old man with eyes that seem to know a composition shaped by time itself. He stops, smiles, and says:
“Isn’t it inspiring when clouds become clocks?”

This mix is a reinterpretation of György Ligeti’s conceptual composition All Clouds Are Clocks, translated into a personal narrative that moves through ambient atmospheres, classical elements, and drum&bass rhythm.

Azami (@azami-851910486) is a layered art project of Anna Huszák, a Hungarian-born artist now based in Barcelona. Her work blends deep ambient, hypnotic techno, and experimental electronics combined with live flute. Her compositions seek to create a subtle dialogue between immersive atmospheres and layered emotions. Her new label, "Circling on the Horizon" (@circlingonthehorizon), presents its first release and serves as a platform for music exploring synesthetic and conceptual storytelling, crafting imagined landscapes and narrative soundscapes that offer a gentle escape from everyday reality.

HOCast 250 - AZAMI

When we first covered Les Chaos Ambiants, it was clear they weren’t aiming for the usual festival formula. Instead of big stages and brand sponsorships, they’re focused on how electronic music and art can interact with local identity and environmental urgency. For 2025, the festival returns to Sommant, right in the Morvan Regional Natural Park, continuing to build on this concept. There’s still just one stage, no clashes, no sprinting between acts, but now there’s added weight on multidisciplinary art, from Adrien Lamm’s sculptural installations by the lake to workshops exploring endangered species through sound and visual design.

The lineup remains eclectic but united by atmosphere, curated once again by Alfonso Pomeda, who’s also the artistic mind behind Barcelona’s Mostra Festival. The full lineup for 2025 includes ABSIS, Alcachofa, Avsluta, Faery, Fran Campos, Lynne , Merovee, Metshka Pampo, Myles Dillon, Nems-B, Orsu, Owl, Toé, and Sybil. Les Chaos Ambiants seems designed for people who treat listening as an experience in itself, a festival where silence and subtlety can carry as much weight as rhythm or volume. Which brings us naturally to one of this year’s standout additions.

Let’s be honest: some artists play music; others change the room around you. Owl belongs firmly in the second camp. Just a few weeks ago, he opened the infamous “La Cabaña”, the ambient and experimental temple at Perpendicular Festival, with a set steeped entirely in lush, enveloping ambient. It was a lesson in subtle power, transforming a cavernous space into something intimate and weightless. It wasn’t flashy, but it left everyone exhaling like they’d just remembered how to breathe. Owl’s ability to craft this atmosphere without ever sounding forced makes him a perfect fit for Les Chaos Ambiants. Here’s an artist who understands that music in a pine forest doesn’t need to shout. It only needs to glow...
