A Dreamer & a Burner

Special K (Mohammed Kamal - 1985) born and raised in Lattakia, Syria only moving to to Dubai in 2011. He has played a major rule in the underground scene in the region from initiating the very first musical gatherings of their kind in Syria in 2003 and bringing it all the way to Dubai in 2013 by Co-founding (Desert Dream Community). This community was inspired by the burning man and other festivals of its kind. He carried out this vision deep in the desert away from the hustle and bustle of the city and in between the dunes. With time he became the key player in the city focused on electronic music festivals, he created and collaborated with most successful festivals (Desert Dream - Elements - Kaynouna- Eunoia- Sandance..... etc.) around Middle East (UAE - Lebanon- Egypt - Jordan - Turkey - KSA - India)

Musically, Special K has always been a pioneer searching and spreading knowledge of the most innovative trends on electronic music, applying a meticulous musical choice on his sets, crossing styles of House and Techno music, traveling from Oriental / Downtempo, Organic house to Progressive/ Melodic rhythm cause he goes with the flow and has on occasion gone on to play for 24hrs straight, although always with surprising with a complex musical selection. Very rhythmic, full of groove and energy.

He mostly performed during events/ festivals which he either created from the ground up or participated in to assist the organizers. He preferred to be behind the scene which helped him be more creative till the pandemic (Covid-19) showed up , so he is one of the 1st who started live streaming through Desert Dream channel along with most talented local & international Djs.
From that day he decided to adapt and share his talent with the world, so he complete what he use to do with Desert Dream ( talent’s hunter ) and found Trinity Festival along with Hot Air Balloon festival & Yalla Festival which already did few trial and ready to be published once the restrictions are gone. 
He streamed for many entities for a human rights, Africa Children. As he did some live streams for HAB festival from the sky (Hot air balloon), Cafe De Anatolia from the desert and working on a projects.

D_Root discovered electronic music and digital arts back in 1996, 13 years ago. He knew from the start he wanted to make a career of writing electronic music. In 1998, he started creating hartechno (hardtechno ?) and
performing in free parties up until 2002, at which point he wanted to explore new horizons. From there on, his music evolved towards hybrid melodic and rhythmic structures, a unique mix between techno and
psyketrance. With time, he has acquirred new equipment and improved his technical skills.

Since 2004, D_Root has dedicated his time to creating trance music, mostly progressive trance. He has clearly been influenced by the work of Vibrasphere or Liquid Soul? In the last three years, concert dates bookings

have increased continuously, D_Root has performed in different parties and festivals in France, Switzerland, Belgium, Burkina Faso. On differentoccasions, he shared the stage with famous artists such as Gaudium, DayDin,Astral projection, HyperFrequencies, Quantize...

He signed with the label Hadra, his 1st album out in July of 2010. Meanwhile, you will be able to discover and share D_Root?s unique musical

universe on diverse occasions where he is scheduled to appear for an dynamic, progressive live performance. At the same time, D_Root and Lunarave are collaborating on a progressive/fullon « LUNAROOT » project, which will reserve you many surprises.


New Funk Order is the nu disco / house funk project of Théo Grozdanic (Aka OddWave / Earthworm / Smooth Criminal). He decided to create this project with the aim of developing a more musical universe and making the most of his skills as a musician. Funk, groove, disco, world music: styles that have always accompanied him since his early days. The perfect mix with house, powerful bass and solid rhythms that make you dance.

Story:

Originally from the Hip Hop movement, Miss Tick discovered Techno music in 1999. She first started djing Progressive in 2003 and then dived into Techno. Her journey led her to be part of labels like Spin Twist Records, Bus Rec or NBM, and organise many parties like the very famous «Trance Embarquement» nights at the Batofar, making it a must see in the Parisian scene.

She has always been well known for her very precise, tribal, FAT yet glamour djsets that always deliver an intense and driving experience to the public. Important gigs came quickly, like the opening of Ozora Festival in Hungary, Tshitraka in Germany, Subsonic in Australia , Modem Festival in Croatia, Hadra in France to name a few, bringing her to countries like Israel, Morocco, India…

Fervent activist, committed artist, Miss Tick has been involved into this scene for more than a decade now. The creation of her own label NCTRN Rec (NOCTURNE Rec) in 2018 marks a new page in her adventure, letting her present her favorite music and artists to the world.

She just released a compilation on Perfect stranger’s label : DIGITAL STRUCTURES, the futur is looking great for Miss Tick so be prepared for multiple gigs and releases!

IZADORÄ is the new project of the producer/musician/singer/Dancer, Maud Cavalade.   
Inspirated by world music, she bonds traditional and electronic music into a whole that shows her inner self. IZADORÄ reinvented her style through the worlds, in-between Nu Cumbia, Organic house and folktronica.


Bercée par les musiques ethnique, Maud Cavalade Aka IZADORÄ tisse le lien entre musique sacré et musique électronique, une fusion mélangeant musique ethnique et la création de Beats.
