Skankandbass is dedicated towards the official promotion of record labels and artists in the world of drum & bass music. Since inception in 2010, Skankandbass has unearthed some of the freshest talents in the scene and has opened many doors for unsigned artists. Now, a few years in to the game, Skankandbass decides to take on the role of a record label to put together a series of free download singles which aims to further help spread the work of the best unsigned, newcomer artists who deserve more recognition.

Influenced by the likes of Prodigy, Orbital and Chemical Brothers, Tyler Frost was hooked on electronic music from an early age. In 2013 he decided to start producing and now in 2018, we’re happy to present ‘Cold Blocks / Changes’ - two cold cuts of rolling drum & bass which are destined to land this newcomer Russian solid support in the scene.

The LP features a mix of upcoming Artists who we think you need to know about! 
We've packed this one with the best Minimal Steppers, Dark Rollers, Lush Halftime Beats and Vibey Tunes we could find over the last few months.

Each Artist was picked for good reason, no messing about, straight back to back rollers, Bangers and Vibers. Some ready made for the Dance, some just so interesting we needed to put 'em on there and then some so damn lush we thought they needed to be heard!

The LP has been getting support from some of the Dons of the Tech/ Minimal Scene and a great response on radio across the globe.

Without further adieu, we present to you all 22 Tracks from some of the most promising upcomers on the scene.

Soul Deep Digital and Modest Intentions are proud to present the new "Changes EP".  Modest Intentions, who hails from Estonia, drops his debut EP on Soul Deep in impressive fashion.  The EP kicks off with the title track, "Changes", which features lush pianos, snappy drums, swirling efx, bouncy sub bassline, and a sharp mid bassline.  "Things Like This", is up next and features punchy drums, pulsating pads, heartfelt Soul vocals, and a deep sub.  "Electricity", features punchy drums, long emotive pads, and the melancholic vocal stylings of Emily Jones.  The vocals in the track drift perfectly over the melody creating an addictive blissful soundscape.  "Hold Your Breath", finishes things off in style with it's long sustained pads, fast clicking drums, big sub, and reese sounding mid bass layer.  This is a fantastic debut by an artist that should release a lot of future projects with Soul Deep.  Hypnotic!!
