Kelvin Kiprono aka Insect, fondly known as ‘Dudu’ in Swahili; is a humble rapper who lives in Nairobi’s Kangemi area of Kenya. Born in the summer of 1988, the lyrical maestro fell in love with music from a tender age. In primary school he delved into the art of traditional music and folklore. In secondary school he was a renowned soloist and could get you dancing in seconds. He launched his solo music career in 2005 recording with various producers and collaborating with different artistes. Young and ambitious, strong and courageous he is a wild man who works on instinct and feelings to catalyse energy and galvanise the public.
