Insertion - Live @ Nether Club Bucharest (Open Decks - 07 Feb 2024)

Progressive / meloprog music producer based in Romania.
The project came to life in 2014 by George Rizopol and *Alex Pop(retired). The idea came to life because of an electronic music resonance with an emphasis on melody, harmonic sounds and groove.

Zizou is a Romanian DJ who discovered electronic music in 1996 when he attended a party in Studio Martin one of the top clubs from Romania. He began to listen different genres like progressive, trance and techno. His main influences are Depeche Mode, Robert Miles, John Digweed, Sasha, Danny Howells and Hernan Cattaneo. In 2005 he bought professional dj tools and started to mix.He likes to build up his sets from deep house & progressive to techno. The main characteristics of his sets are the depth and the melody. In the last years he played in several clubs like : Web, Silver, Cocoloco (ex Kado), Fuchsia, DeBufet, Office (Ploiesti), OK (Ploiesti), La Mansarda, Flow, Space, Colors and Spayer Palace. From 2009 till 2012 he had a monthly radio show. He was invited till now for 4rd times at Frisky Radio. So far he has shared booth with Henry Saiz and Seb Dhajje. 

Insertion (aka Silviu Gabriel Petean) knows daylight in May 1986.
Born and raised in Bucharest, he will become one of the most enthusiastic supporters of trance movement in Romania.

By the end of 2008, he made his debut at Cocoloco Music Club mixing for the first time in front of 200 trance-addicts.
Between 2009 and 2010, he had a lot of gigs, mixing in many romanian clubs: Silver Club, Suburbia, Stamba, Apasu, Club Flow, Soviet Club.

2010 brings more opportunities for Insertion to exercise his mixing skills. House Parade Timisoara / Hard Force Stage (July 31th) and Trance Vibrations 5th Edition @ Anpora Music Arena in Timisoara (September 10th) were the most important events for him.

In 2011 Insertion performed live in warm-up for Claudia Cazacu and Ferry Tayle.

Nowadays his style is a smooth blend of deep, tech and progressive grooves filled with heavy techno gems.

Between 2009 and 2012 he was the host of a monthly radioshow called SoundWaves on TranceNet Radio (www.trancenet.ro).
