Our Revolution

Evening gatherings in the countryside, the search for happiness, a song about the eternal things. "Magic Fire" is the second EP by Crimson & Folks, which is a mix of European and Russian music traditions. You can hear rare Russian folk instruments, such as "gusli" and emotional lyrics with references to Russian folk tales in a form of pop-music.

Nichts Außergewöhnliches started as a poem by the Berlin based writer Sophia Allgaier. After she created a beautiful, alternating melody to it, bassist Sami Wiese and drummer Lucas Steber recorded their grooving parts of the piece. In this pure form the track sat for while to be then decorated by Severin Zellner with an extra bridge, a lush harmony arrangement, percussion parts and the extraordinary and soulful piano played by Masako Sakai.
