Our very own Insightful is so diverse with the beats. This dude can literally hit every BPM and energy seamlessly. He sent us this a few weeks ago and we knew this one had to be shared with you. He layered his bass infused beat with Big Sean's vocals from 'Dance (A$$)' and pretty much created a whole new song. This is that festival music. This is one of those tracks that DJs and producers will go out of their way to peak at your screen and want to know what it is. Insightful has a new album coming out next month (October 17, 2013) called "Elsewhere". Make sure to stay tuned for that. It's on a whole other feel good vibe, trust.

It's been a while since we've put out some music huh? Well we apologize for that. We've been growing at such a fast rate and we had to put our focus on to other avenues within Soulection to make this the best platform possible for many years to come. 

With that said, we are sooooo excited to bring your attention to a new artist who you most likely have never heard of (that's about to change) from Wales, UK. We were put on to this talented individual by our friend @helios5th when we first traveled to London back in May. Something about PYRMD's sound just captured us instantly. It's very unique and his melodies just capture your mind like your favorite incense.

PYRMDPLAZA is currently attending the University of Wales and is studying 'Creative Sound and Music'. He uses Ableton but started off with FLStudio. PYRMD started making music about 6-7 years ago and created privately for many years until the beginning of this year when he realized that he wanted to showcase his music. He definitely made the right choice otherwise we wouldn't be here at this very moment. Goes to show you how important social media is and how simply hitting "upload" can change your whole life by connecting with the world.

It's great to finally release this song. I've been hanging on to it for a few months now and it's one of my favs to play live. We opened with this song every night on the plm keeping it crew tour.
The inspiration for this track came one day after being asked to perform MainStage at a summer block party in my hometown, Tacoma Washington. My goal was to create a party track with huge drums, a heavy synth riff and powerful vocals. My city has come up so much since I left. I've got so much love for my people out there and I've seen the grit that it takes to progress as much as they have. Ultimately this is about that feeling of passion and persistence. Fire can be dangerous yet we stay close to feel the heat and bask in the glow.
