Here, L.A. based producer, by way of Eugene, Oregon, Calvin Valentine slows things down a bit with a synth-heavy re-haul and the justtt the right amount of bongos.

'I love records. I love beats. When Lewis James linked me to JUSTGOODBEATS it was pretty clear to me, we had to see if we could do something together. I love the fact that the entire release is done with love, from the sleeve and record to the stamps and stickers. It all has that handmade print to it, something you don't see a lot in this modern world of ours. 

As for the beats on this release, that's the kind of stuff I enjoy listening to myself. Laidback beats with a nod factor to it. It's the type of music i can always go back to, take a record from my collection, flip it or use no samples at all and play everything. It doesn't really matter to me, as long as the output is something that I can bump in my car. 

With that said, a couple of shout outs : Lewis James for linking JGB and myself, Adam and his wife for doing what they're doing with the label, my wife Taina for her everlasting love and support and my dog Igor for keeping it 100 (be kind to animals, they're dope).
