The anniversary compilation is showcasting the unique experience which was collected through the 20 years long journey of Insomnia Records. DJs Becar & Sunshine tried to combine together the artits who have been with us for many years along the way with authentic russian darkpsy and forest tracks, supporting the local scene in Russia, which was a big point for the label since the first released compilation. 

Important to mention that the compilation is not about the oldschool sound, all of the tracks here are brand new cutting edge products for the night time dancefloor to fill it with a special psychedelic energy. 

We highly appreciate all the effort done by the artists, designers, mastering engineers and other participating persons and would like to say a big THANK YOU to all ever invloved. More 20 years in space to come!

Centurio Senex is the DJ/musical project of Gustavo Alfaro, based in San José, Costa Rica. From an early age, he developed a strong passion for music, exploring its most extreme forms such as Metal, Punk, and Grindcore, while also delving into diverse sonic realms like Ambient, Drone, Experimental, Trip-Hop, Folk, Jazz, Funk, Blues, and many others.

Between 2018 and 2019, he became deeply involved with Psychedelic Trance, instantly captivated by its hypnotic sound. After attending several gatherings and immersing himself in the different sonic landscapes of the genre, he felt the calling to share and spread these vibrations, which led him to start his DJ project.

Centurio Senex stands out for a his selection of Forest and Darkpsy, focusing on channeling shifting tones and frequencies, layered with organic textures and twisted, driving basslines. His intention is to induce a profound introspective state of trance—guiding listeners beyond the ordinary and into the unexplored depths of their subconscious mind.
