Cyan is a Melbourne based act by Emma Johns. 
Primarily a night time orientated project, she originally started her journey with Biopulse Records (UK), playing hard-hitting twilight which was soon accompanied by bouncy night-psy. These days her taste has developed to incorporate various styles of Forest and Darkpsy which led to joining the Hypnotique Recordings label in 2019 participating as the Australian Rep. 

Featuring her presence in Radizora, Trance Mexico, Italy, various radio shows, major festivals in Australia; she can connect with many crowds maintaining a style that fits the "CYAN" description.

Emma possesses great éclat as well as ebullience in her performance, mixing and matching music with a dark and uplifting vibe with the aim of creating a unique and driving atmosphere. Having come across many sub-genres of Psytrance, Emma brings a creative sound that blends styles old and new.

The idea behind it is firstly the support of muscians from the underground who should get much more attention then they get atm and the second reason for making this Podcast Series is that I am a really big music nerd (mostly electronic music) and with this podcast it is very easy to life that out (I know as a DJ this is also easy, but for me Djing is more kind of a hobby which I do a bit in my freetime).

 I was a event promoter in Brain Collapse Records , that sadlly closed due to the death off the sound  engineer and creator of the record , the producer and my beloved friend and brother Hazardoze who was a teacher and guider in the ways of the sound  . 
 I  have made  Partys and  Organised same off them  and i am  independent .
 I do this work as a hobby for now and for educational purpose . 
 I started my conection to electronics with the first pioneers of it ( Jean Michelle Jarre, Depeche Mode , Technotronic and the old school psycadelic rockers ..., also rock, metal and later nu metal  were a great influence in my young days , when i was  called in time for rave music ( electronics) and later the genres started to part from each other but all the same source , our Father , Mother Earth and mother A. I. I fell in love with psycadelic trance , goa trance and the beating heart was stronger in the DARKPSY🎯 . I love to bring the joy and light of the night into the world . Triptofun was drawn into the world of electronic music in 2004 by listening to a DnB/jungle CD of one czech soundsystem and by his first freetekno party in 2005. Soon he discovered psytrance and since then he has been involved in both techno and psytrance subcultures. The fascination and inspiration of altered states of consciousness, music and dance continues to this day in both his musical and professional life.
He moved from making hardware freetekno to DJing and in 2011 joined the south bohemian psytrance group Kamasutra. His night sets on the mainfloor are mostly techno/ darkprog/ dark psytrance. However, as a multi-genre DJ, he obsessively selects tracks for his sets on a daily basis in genres such as deep dubstep/ bass, deep house, DnB, hip-hop/ trip-hop, garage, wave, ambient, etc., so that he can play at any time of the day according to the concept of the event. 
He has played in NZ, Australia, Latin America, England and several countries in Europe.
He has organized countless musical events both with Kamasutra and solo (Sohma records) or with other groups.
