Such is the volume of quality music Adam Beyer receives throughout the course of the year, releasing all of it would be impossible. Enter the blue chip A-Sides series: a chance for the quality-obsessive label head to issue a collection of outstanding tracks that couldn't fit in their regular EP release schedule. 

With an eye on future talent, as much as the label's established roster of heavy-hitters, the compilation showcases the full breadth of Drumcode's multifaceted techno sound, equal parts inspiring and functional. 

Led by the stealth techno funk of 'Nine of You', Beyer's deft collaboration with Mark Reeve, the compilation takes in exciting highlights from big guns such as Alan Fitzpatrick, Dustin Zahn, Bart Skils, Pleasurekraft, Luca Agnelli, Jay Lumen, Kaiserdisco and Gary Beck. 

The rich vein of form displayed by emerging techno talent is similarly given prime position. Rising DJ/producer Boxia makes his Drumcode debut, fresh from a well-received warm up set for the crew at the hugely successful Junction 2 festival in London, while the likes of Enrico Sangiuliano, Juan Sanchez, Ian O'Donovan and Timmo also drop fire, establishing their credentials as some of the most promising talent breaking through the ranks in 2016. 

Reinforcing the global scope of the label, artists such as The Junkies from Toronto and Layton Giordani from New York, prove techno is winning a place in the heart of the new generation of artists coming out of North America.

Intec is known to many a fan of House and Techno as a scene leading label set up by the iconic Carl Cox who has been at the forefront of DJ culture since the early 90s.

With a roster of artists including the label boss himself plus Nicole Moudaber, Jon Rundell, Marco Bailey, Carlo Lio, Cristian Varela and Dosem amongst many others of a similar calibre.

This new release is from Intec regulars Drumcomplex & Roel Salemink who with this release makes their fifth appearance on the label as well as featuring their debut collaboration album in 2014.

Having also released music on Bush Records, Bulletdodge and Marco Baileys label MB Elektronics, the pair are no strangers to the world's Techno scene, and this release showcases their impressive sound in all its glory.

German born Arnd Reichow aka Drumcomplex and Dutch native Roel Salemink are both respected solo artists in their own right, but when the pair come together their complimenting styles have produced some of their most compelling work.

The first track Ampex is packed with tension thats brought to life by the underlying menace of its melody. Tom drums bubble up in a fast flowing rhythm which is soon complimented by a hard hitting clap to provide some added aggression. Taking no prisoners, this is dark and dancefloor focused Techno at its most exhilarating.

Second is Eighties which starts with looped chords that build with suspense as the track develops. When the main breakdown hits, so does the roar of the bass synth, which then tears through the track with devastating force. Peak time and perfect, this track is packed with a raw energy and cryptic sense of excitement.

Defining summer 2016 with a huge club weapon, Santé drops ‘Bring Back’ ahead of announcing the release of his second artist album ‘House Lessons’ via his own Berlin based imprint AVOTRE.

Opening with our Debut Transmission and his signature jacking sound, Santé wastes no time setting the pace on the release’s title track ‘Bring Back’. The funky vocal sample then marks the first of many huge drops and adds an element of soul to an already huge club record, while the clapping beat dances effortlessly over the huge rolling bass lines. ‘Bring Back’ cleverly finds the perfect blend of deeply underground aesthetics while keeping the vibe rooted firmly on the dance floor.

The release is rounded off with an equally as massive remix from Leeds native and regular AVOTRE alumni Dale Howard, who masterfully reworks the original to bring his unique sound to the record, while staying true to the original.

It is a great honor for Stereo Productions to release the first EP of what we consider two of the UK's top producers, keeping in mind the high level that the British scene has nowadays. 

Circuit Ep shows us two extraordinary cuts. 'B Boom' is a House & Funky track incredibly produced and filled with an excellent rhythmic sense and party heart. On the other side, we have 'Voglio,' a groovy and progressive Tech House track with an overwhelming power and hypnotizing vocal.

Born in the UK but raised in Chicago, Secondcity has a unique Pan-Atlantic outlook on House and Techno music that takes influence from his exposure to both of these musical hotspots. As such, in a short time, Rowan has accelerated into the collective consciousness of house heads around the world. 

Mark Fanciulli recently entered the scene, but he did it in grand style, releasing on top labels and doing memorable works. It helps to elevate his music above mere functional fodder and ensures his beats always come with a subtle sense of storytelling that really transports people somewhere else. Mark Fanciulli is an artist with skills, sounds, and selections well beyond his years in the game.
