It's On You is a chugging house nugget that rolls right along, gathering groove like moss on a stationary stone; a pared back, slow burner so Jackin' it's Jillin', Licensed to Ill with no empty filling.  It's the product of a more relaxed Slack recalibrating to Hong Kong's parameters, and striking up a new creative partnership with co-producer, fellow UK exile and recent Thailand arrival Adam Dowding, aka Adsorb (last seen unleashing sonic havoc over Bangkok from a giant fire-breathing metal spider, culmination of his dream to bring Glastonbury's legendary Arcadia stage to Asia). Retwerks are from Slack's London chums and Breakspoll 2013 Breakthrough winners, Se7en Deadly Breaks, all dark, driving, wobbly and fractured beats, and Sean Rogers, Hong Kong's top secret Bunker Party supremo, who goes long and deep.
