For Tor, a long look in the mirror and an eagerness to fully blossom as an artist has led to his next body of work, Blue Book, which will soon take up precious space on Emancipator’s estimable Loci Records back catalog. “Myth” is a musical chapter that tells a tale of both then and now, centered on a soul-stirring guitar riff that gradually flows into languid layers and hushing atmospherics drifting beneath a vocal sample that plays out like a story you’d never want to end.
