After announcing the exclusive signing of London Drum & Bass producer Cyantific last year, Viper waste no time is getting him in the rotation.

High Water Mark is the first solo release from Cyantific after he initially featured on the 10 Years Of Viper compilation and sets the standard as a teaser for the first big single due later this year. 

Premiered on Frictions BBC Radio 1 show as his ‘Friction Fire” and then by MistaJam the next day, you know big things are coming.

High Water Mark is a classic set starter kicking off with a delicate guitar riff that swiftly switched to a grinding bassline.  Then, before you get to comfortable, it’s all gun blazing and the fire’s unleashed into an epic stadium size Drum & Bass monster.  Trademark thunderous beats and dial busting energy, this ones not for the faint of heart.

Now lot of people don’t like Mondays and we think that’s fair enough; going back to work feeling a decade older after a heavy weekend spent making memories with friends can be a chore for even for the most optimistic of us as we trudge back in to the daily grind.  Luckily, help is at hand as we've secured Dominica's unreleased summer anthem 'Gotta Let You Go'.

Having caused quite a stir in clubs and festivals across the globe throughout warmer months, we had feared that the track wasn't going to get an official release despite the likes of Jackmaster and Skream championing the track in their sets.

Thus we were delighted to hear that it would finally be arriving via Altra Moda Music this November and quickly set about securing it for premiere. Rock solid grooves, pumping synths and rolling snares underpin catchy, redolent vocals for a sunshine soaked floor filler guaranteed to ward off those winter blues.

The Audiojack duo team up with cohort Kevin Knapp to release their heavy club weapon ‘Vibrate’ on Hot Creations. Berlin based Re.You and former Minus mainstay and Fun Records founder Barem take the reins for remix duty.

Making his first appearance on the label with this remix, Re.You’s other releases can be found on Cocoon, Mobilee and Souvenir alongside second remixer Barem, a talented producer from Argentina. Texas-bred, San Francisco-schooled and Berlin based producer Kevin Knapp is no stranger to the Hot Creations imprint, having released his successful two track ‘The Heft EP’ earlier this year. Originally from Leeds, and now based in Ibiza, Audiojack are set to celebrate a decade of music-making with exciting new releases forthcoming on the likes of Crosstown Rebels, 2020 Vision, Tsuba and their own label Gruuv.

Our Debut Transmission today is the lead track ‘Taking Over’ which drives forward with the help of an infectious male vocal hook as a rumbling bassline operates throughout, making way for a more percussive and rhythmic remix from GW in comparison.

For those that have been hanging around Studio338 on a Sunday for the last year or so the name Ellie Cocks (check out our introducing feature here) is not new to you at all.  As one of the key residents at the hugely popular ABODE Sunday parties, she has blossomed into one of todays upcoming talents behind the decks, commanding the dance floor with a bouncy and beaming grin, that is a delight to see.
