After triumphantly winning Mixmag's Label of the Decade poll with his beloved Dirtybird clan, there's no denying the adoration for Claude VonStroke. It might be hard to believe that it's been two years since we received an original production from the maestro, but thankfully, the drought has finally come to an end with his brand new collaborative EP called 'Works Well With Others'. The first to arrive is his work with Will Clarke - a bearded and beloved rising star of the eclectic label - on a track called 'Tiny Tambourine'. Although the title says 'Tiny', there's no denying the bumping power of this brand new, classically thumping VonStroke tune.

Jojo Angel returns to label duties with his 'Mine Is Yours' EP. Having had a string of releases on Relief, Resonance, Criminal Hype and Safe Music this year, Jojo Angel delivers his signature sound once again with two original groove driven tracks. Title track 'Mine Is Yours' is a simple but effective call to action, with smooth chords to open up the track and heavy female vocals to drive the track on. 'Tha Bit' is a thumping, rolling beat with punchy drums and tough bass that will keep you locked into the groove.

My friend, Wyatt Marshall, collaborated with me on the B-side and also gets credit for turning me on to modular synthesis which is used considerably on both tracks.
