Happy New Year Psytrance fans! We're back for the next episode of Fractal Frequencies podcast! The last 8 months have been absolutely full of back to back adventures. First off we got married! Then traveled to Own Spirit and Boom Festivals for our European Psytrance Honeymoon. Sending lots of love to Camp Denmark for making our trip so special<3 When we got back it wasn't long until we flew to the UK to check out the Nano Records Label Party. After that, it was a long and crazy move from Sacramento to Phoenix and then insane hours with the new promotion at work. All really amazing things that had taken me away from the studio but the long wait is over :) I've put together a fun mix of some of my favorite releases over the past 6 months followed by a pumpin guestmix by Celestial! Cosmik Brothers - We The People - Vision

In this Matsuri episode you can hear TSUYOSHI SUZUKI's "Nu Year 2023 Mix" recorded at Koenji Cave. Tsuyoshi Suzuki is an internationally-acclaimed DJ and producer from Tokyo. At the leading edge of the psychedelic trance movement for a quarter of a century, Tsuyoshi continues to thrill crowds all over the world with his uniquely focused style of mixing and psychedelic music selection. Tsuyoshi moved to London in 1992 to found Matsuri Productions with marketing manager John Perloff and to expand his work as a DJ. Producing popular releases on his record label while DJ’ing at the popular Return To The Source events in London, Tsuyoshi gained international popularity and was soon travelling across the globe. In 2000 he moved back to Tokyo and shifted focus to a wider range of electronic and analog musical styles with a new label, Madskippers, while also organizing the regular event Tokio Drome. He expanded from DJing into live music with his band Joujouka, which produces cross-platform electro psychedelic rock and fusion music.  In 2009, as Goa Trance started to enjoy a revival in Tokyo, Tsuyoshi re-started Matsuri Productions by rebranding as Matsuri Digital, working together with the young new DJ Yuta and others to bring the timeless Goa sound to a new generation. Tsuyoshi’s new project GoKen, with Japanese producer Ubar Tmar, is focused on updating psychedelic sounds with a 90s inspiration. Tsuyoshi and Matsuri are continuing to evolve and shape the global scene.

Hailing from the capital city of California, Inspector Gadget is powered by psychedelic trance. California-based artist Garrett Tolari got his start mixing magical melodic and psychedelic trance at Burner parties and forest renegades. He discovered trance music in San Francisco in 2017 and quickly fell in love with psytrance. The deep connection he felt with the musical elements soon led him to start mixing his own magical patterns of melody with progressive and deep bass lines. His inspiration is drawn from artists such as Perfect Stranger, Astrix, Out of Orbit, SOME1 and Captain Hook; he is especially passionate about progressive and psy-techno. His sets often blend psy-tech, dark prog, progressive and full-on, to create an electrifying energy that fills the dance floor.
