Welcome to the Decoy Podcast, this is our 6th episode and the first in 2015. We welcome Italian producers Wirrwarr to the helm with a no messing straight up techno mix. Wirrwarr have been producing for the last few years and particularly enjoy the darker side of genre, they have releases on Micro.fon and Nulldreißig 030 which showcase their particular production style. This week Wirrwarr have an EP out called Heavy Floor and can be found exclusively on Beatport.

Roberto Capuano releases his first single on Truesoul with two exceptional tracks that show a tech-ier side to Roberto’s sound and one that impresses throughout. The title track ‘Never Stop’ has been a highlight in Adam Beyer’s sets and its easy to understand why. The creeping vocal and driving drums are an inaugural part of the track before the uniquely pleasing pads drop in and create a gripping and immersive track to get lost in. ‘Around’ is a tech-ier track that implements a throbbing underlying bass line that sits and keeps the track driving under a roaring vocal.

We here at Second State are thrilled to bring you our new concept entitled HUB. While most labels these days are doing various artists releases to showcase the overall talent on their label, we thought it would be better suited for both our listeners and ourselves to break the mold and bring you a series of true collaborations. Each HUB release will feature a single artist teaming up with others from the Second State family to create an EP of authentic musical compromises. A place where multiple minds find a harmony somewhere outside their own identity and each collaboration conceives a genuinely unique artifact. With this, there is no one we would rather have kick off the series than the man behind the massive EPs; 'Throwl' and 'Doch', Stephan Hinz with HUB One!

Of course it would only be right to kick off the first track of the first HUB One way. An alliance with, Pan-Pot. "Tension' is a heavy number with just a few key elements, it's a slow lurking journey through a dark forest at night. As each bush and branch is pushed aside and every step inches closer to a destination unknown, the pressure builds. Soon, without knowing, you are in the depths of a jungle with no way back and only one decision. Keep going.
