Instinctive Records is a House Music label based in Paris & founded by Alex Finkin, Sébastien Grand, Dagui Rodann & Jocelyn Mathieu.
They were all involved into House Music for years (Vega Records, Soulheaven, Defected, Suburban, Purple …) and decided to unite on purpose:
delivering fresh & uplifting house music, allowing their natural eclecticism to speak freely, and caring more for their instinctive feeling than for the genre and its
traditional definition.

Myungho Choi was baptized in the early 90s inside the abandoned warehouses of the midwest, experiencing the sounds crafted by the DJs and electronic musicians from Detroit and Chicago. Growing up in Columbus, Ohio, Myungho had invaluable access to auteurs such as Juan Atkins, Paul Johnson, Rob Hood and Glenn Underground. Myungho began an output of sounds ranging from downtempo electronic, under the moniker Trout, Spore, and Lewis Overton, to techno and house under the names Elliptical and Myungho Choi.

In the mid 90s, Myungho began performing and releasing tracks on compilations and indie labels, and soon after created an imprint called Transit Records with close friend Shannon Leis. His releases includes two EPs on Transit Records, two EPs with A Touch of Class (Germany), an EP with Odour Recordings from the UK, a release on Krome Boulevard, and a track called Red Umbrella featured on Mark Farina’s Live in Tokyo mix on the Om label.

Mum played Boo Boo music as my dad called it.  Terrance Trent Darby, Sade, Tracy Chapman, Annie Lennox, Simply Red; the list goes on.

Whilst my dad listened to his music in the car whilst driving to work, his love for music was Rock, the electric guitar was his passion.

My musical loves are from many genres. The vocals, acoustics and elements within the track need to make a connection in my soul.
