RTADAX SUPERSAIYAN WITH A SUPER SAYING,

Since more than a decade, RDV is strongly promoting Jamaican musics in France with various activities. They are always ready to play, anytime, anywhere, where it is a jugglin dance or a soundclash ! The sound is also often organising dubplates sessions and have shown support for many upcoming artists - some of them had their big break since then! 

Created in 2005 by Thias and Pec in Tours (center of France), the sound will be joined in 2007 by Tom. Two members then moved to Paris and started give more exposure to the sound in the French capital.

The Reggae History is wide, just as Ride De Vibes selections. Everything is played : Ska, Roots, Rub-a-dub, Digital, New roots, Dancehall... You can of course add to that Hip-hop, RnB, Afrobeat, Soca ...

They are nonethless huge hardcore dancehall fans, and that is the motivation behind their monthly event "Up Like Friday" in Paris, running since October 2016. The party quickly became the place to be for all dancehall addicts.

The sound is still active in Tours with Pec playing every month at the "Outlaw Parties" with "La Smalla Connection" crew.

Although the soundclash scene is not very developped in France, Ride De Vibes was part of some of the major french clashes of these last years : "Center Cup" (Tours, on 2007), "Time fi clash" (Lyon, on 2014) and "Is Paris burning?" (Paris, on 2015). 

RDV made their debut alongside African Héritage (Tours) and Panam Sound (Paris) , making their first big scenes and recording their first dubplates. Since then, they have gone a long way, playing everywhere in France and representing on the international scene (Switzerland, England, Jamaica...).

Every summer, RDV is showing up at the "Aucard Festival" in Tours and at the famous "Fête de L'Humanité" in Paris which gathers every year more than 500 000 people.

They also toured with several artists like Joseph Cotton, Cham, Spice, Brahim, Bazil ... Bazil is one of the artists the sound had supported over the years, just like Gappy Ranks from UK or jamaican artists Tiana, Charly Black, and Iba Mahr which first official mixtape was done. More recently, they focused on Jamaica newest female sensation Shensea.

Sometimes a name tells a lot about an individual. And, the implications of the name “Instinct” suggests a natural innate quality; essential to survival and success. That brings us to “INSTINK the artist.”
Born Kirk Abishai Beckford on August 6, 1988 at the Victoria Jubilee Hospital in Kingston, Jamaica, music came naturally to the young Kirk. Navigating a childhood in the rough and tumble community off Red Hills Road to the Whitehall Avenue environment of Jamaica’s capital, Kingston. It was not always easy; but it was one that Kirk Beckford successfully navigated with the aid of a strong family unit and his love for music.
“I can’t remember a time when music was never a part of my life,” he often pronounces in his interviews. What about the pseudonym (moniker) “Instink?“ It came about during an impromptu a lyrical session with friends” he explained. The name was originally “Killer Instinct,” due to his deft lyrical skills. He later dropped the “Killer” from the name, changed the spelling to its current reincarnation (INSTINK).
Instink pursued music, because of his love and passion for the art form. In underscoring the indelible impression of music on his life, the young dancehall/reggae artist indicated that, “I did not choose music; rather it was music that chose me.”
Instink endeavored to find his place in the challenging world of reggae/dancehall music- writing lyrics, working on his delivery. The studio becoming a “home away from home;” as he uses the musical inspirations: Bob Marley, Dennis Brown, Buju Banton, Sizzla, Bounty Killer, Capleton, among many others to galvanize his musical Journey.
Instink has shared the stage with many up and coming acts, including rising cultural artist Salanyde Saffari, Fyah Don and young dancehall star Iyara. 
 “ Love My Girl,” is Instink’s first single out on the DayDream Riddim, which is schedule for a spring, 2016 release. The GregFuzionz/A-Town Records produced single highlights Instink’s distinct voice and style.
The young artist with an expansive lyrical catalogue is ready to take it to the next level.
