Institution 021: Simply City (Live at Stereo Montreal) is a special mix. Simply City (aka Cesar Romero) has provided us, for your listening pleasure, a 1.5h excerpt from his recent set at the renowned Stereo Montreal! 

Cesar began his music career by playing the clubs and raves in his native Santiago, Chile. Afterwards, he toured throughout Latin America; eventually, in pursuit of his DJ career, Cesar ended up with a coveted resident DJ spot at the famous Stereo Montreal. There, he has opened for some of the biggest names in the industry (including Hernan Cattaneo, Eagles and Butterflies, Nick Warren, Henry Saiz) as well as holding onto his own night, with great success.

Cesar Romero has released several progressive tracks and remixes under his moniker, Simply City, on labels such as Sudbeat, Global Underground, Hope, Renaissance, Particles and Modern Agenda. He has enjoyed support from some huge names, including Sasha, Cid Inc, Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren and Maceo Plex.

On a personal note, we all fell in love with Cesar when he visited us in Winnipeg last year. Not only did he play one of the best progressive sets our city has ever seen, he proved himself to be a gracious, humble, kind and genuine person. He does this for ALL the right reasons.

Now: close your eyes and imagine minimal lighting, wood dance floor, lush warm sound system, slowly revolving disco ball above your head, and surrounded by like-minded people...
