Here's a brand new drumstep remix in support of my upcoming EP, "Ride With Me", out April 3rd on MalLabel. When I first heard this Gorillaz track back in 2001ish, it totally blew me away because it was such a meshing of different styles. The tune really opened my eyes to many different kinds of music, especially underground electronic vibes.

'Surreal' could almost be the title of Julian Wassermann's musical career.

The Munich based producer is currently one of the most respected within melodic house and deep techno. As a resident DJ at Harry Klein, Munich and numerous appearances in clubs like Watergate, Berlin at festivals like Pleinvrees, Amsterdam and SEMF in Stuttgart, Wassermann stayed in people's memories through his energetic and eclectic sets.

With his top 10 single "Gotland" (2019), Julian also made his international breakthrough. The techno single was released on "Kompakt" (Speicher), one of the most renowned labels worldwide. The collaboration was created with Florian Kruse from Berlin. 
Even giants on the scene such as Tale of Us, Kölsch and Joris Voorn clearly liked "Gotland" in their sets.

Other releases were also very successful - "Surreal", for example, already counts more than 2 million spotify streams and was among others in the playlist of Deadmau5. Also his remix "La Danse Du Scorpion" for Sébastien Léger went straight to number 1 after release.

The single "Sirius" was supported several times in 2017 by the legend Pete Tong´s Show on BBC Radio 1. Further productions were released on well known labels such as Stil vor Talent, Einmusika, Last Night On Earth and Parquet Recordings.

Already with his successful releases on Stil vor Talent, "Monopterus" (2016), "Aurea" (2016) and "Lyra" (2017), Julian became one of the most successful producers in the scene. The tracks immediately made it into the top 10 of the Beatport charts. With the EP "Monopterus", Julian even made it into the Top 10 as a personal highlight to be able to place three tracks of the release - led by "Monotperus" at the top of the charts on number 1.

We're excited about future releases and the career of an artist who can’t be replicated.

Fascinated by African rhythms and natural sounds, but also influenced by the pop rock culture of the 90’s’ of his parents. Alaix began composing his first songs on a video game console at the age of 13. Experimentation has always been a key point in each of these musical productions, thereby exploring different genres over the years. Over time his signature sound further developed and he got recognised by great venues, such as LaCoste Castle, that gave him the opportunity to perform his music and spread the love even more.

Dieses Mal zackiger und nicht mit weniger Freude gemixt, besteht diese Zusammenstellung aus Tracks, die uns durch diesen unglaublichen Sommer begleitet haben und auf jeden Fall von Herzen kommen.

Hailing from Toronto, Canada, Tim Penner is a unique artist. He weaves dark textures with driving percussion and sweeping soundscapes, as a means of storytelling through sound. 

Penner has released tracks on labels such as JOOF, Sudbeat, Proton Music, Cycles, Black Hole, as well as on his own label – Slideways Music. Indeed, his recent album “Radio Silence” for JOOF Recordings debuted at #1 on Beatport ACROSS ALL GENRES. It was also selected for MixMag’s album of the month.

Penner’s live performances are not to be missed. His DJ career has taken him around the world, including recent gigs in both North and South America, Australia, and Europe. Anyone who has met him will attest to the fact that Tim brings forth a positive, friendly, dynamic vibe on and off the stage. 

To say that we are honoured  that he has made this exclusive guest mix for us would be an understatement. This is dark and dirty prog at it's best! Thanks Tim! <3
