Inspired by the winter sunrises in the city of Porto, MURK AT DAWN VA marks the beginning of a new chapter in the electronic music scene, embracing the passion for the obscure and its intrinsic beauty. 

The first release by the newly established Rapture label consists of a spatial composition from Maria Callapez that inherits the melancholy from those foggy mornings, followed by the intensity and vigor from two renowned Georgian artists, Hecate Legacy and Downwell. 

To fulfill the work from the previous producers, Alessandro Adriani presents us some of his dark hypnotic finest art, preceded by the industrial and vibrant pace of the Portuguese Dust Devices, a sonority already considered his trademark.

Chain Of Sorrow

Void+1 launches its Year-3, "CONVERGENCE," with a formidable EP by Cam Lasky, XENOMORPH: BISHOP.
The previous 5 volumes of his Xenomorph release series have been native to his own label, KWAIOTO, however, the latest installment, a release that exemplifies the cutting edge of modern electronic music, finds its home on Void+1 Recordings.
Known for his narrative-driven approach, Cam dissolves the boundaries of techno and once again demonstrates an intimidating production prowess across a variety of cinematically charged styles. "Fiorina 161" is a peak-time monster, "Synthetics" and "XX121" evoke a trailer-esque, score-like mood while "341-B Pt.2" unleashes breakbeat-mayhem.
For the closing track, we have Scalameriya on remix duty for "XX121", which he transforms into a stripped-down, ritualistic offering with his signature scare-tactic twist on the breakdown.

Instruments Of Discipline and 
Teratology Sound & Vision are joining forces to unleash 
the first vinyl release of Berlin’s infamous noise rock squad CUNTROACHES, previously only available on tape. 

If you are an avid reader of the legendary Maximum Rock’n’Roll magazine or follow left-field underground music, chances are that you have heard of them already - a reputation for confrontative live shows that see the audience getting covered in trash and confronted with convulsive stage antics (and occasionally a gimp slave with a toilet brush in his mouth) is backed up by music as rabid, energetic and demented as it can get. 
A real standout in a time oversaturated with what is called „extreme music“, Cuntroaches are living up to the term by spewing out tracks that are simply unparalleled by any current band in their intensity and viciousness. 

At times reminiscent of the metal depravities of BLASPHEMY, NUCLEAR DEATH or ARCHGOAT and vanguards of sonic warfare such as SWANS and HARRY PUSSY but at no point indulging in any worship, the six tracks on this EP are a welcome reminder of the musical urgency of which Berlin was once home to.
