Aleksandr Rain began play techno as dj at late '90s.
In 2000 together with Krankiss he launched promo-group Art of Music which first in Saint-Petersburg ( Russia ) started organize regular hard techno parties.
From 2006 Aleksandr played as hardware live-project Mental Distortion.
In 2009 he joined as electronic part to ethno-electronic project Kamennoe More.
In 2012 Rain leave Russia and went to Asia where he residence at present days ( currently in India ).
Artist prefer more hardest substyles of techno with offbeat rhythms and idm elements.

In 2018, Russ began his career as a DJ gradually getting into the local Argentine scene, exploring various styles, until finally finding the greatest expression of himself as an artist in Techno! The effort and perseverance of this young artist, led him to share a booth with great national artists with great worldwide recognition such as Michel Lauriola, YYYY, Josefina Muñoz, 04LM, Le Martz among others, and on stages such as Bahrein, Vox as for name a few. Russ is not satisfied with just finding his sound when making a dj set, and decides to slowly enter the world of production and sound design in ableton, leading him to have his first release with CRISTIAN VARELA on the London label EMPHATIC RECORDS , thus driving his career to a great growth and recognition of great artists who have supported his music such as Arnaud Le Texier, Ian Axide, Paula Cazenave, A Thousand Details, Pwcca, Casual Tratment, Vertical Spectrum, Bernardo Hsngar among many others. Liza Aikin is a Berlin based producer, live act and DJ engaged in the search for complex sounds. After a decade of experience in DJing her focus moved on to production, finding inspiration through the sonic manipulation of field recordings and modular synthesizers.

A fascinating, vibrant new artist, frequenting the outer realms of post punk, industrial, techno, you-name-it and has a plethora of releases on cd, vinyl, digital and even cassette tape format to date on labels like Sonic Groove, Aufnahme + Wiedergabe, Ant-zen, and Total Black

The intention behind blush response is to always push the limits of sound, structure, and perception, creating a modern version of what he perceives industrial music to be: brutal, inventive, uncompromising and always innovative. Throbbing Gristle, Surgeon or Front 242 have left audible traces in his sound, and his goal is to recapture the core spirit of these originators, and then to evolve it even further. Performing on hardware synthesizers is a big part of the essence of Blush Response. His approach is very ‘hands on’ and thus 90% of the changes you hear on his sounds are done by hand without any automation. Blush believes in performative gestures over cut and paste editing, and strives to explore the limits of human-machine interactions. His live performances are 100% improvised and mostly unplanned which includes mistakes and happy accidents, and this philosophy is also reflected in his studio work.

Blush Response's music is characterized by a heavy approach to sound design, combining rough, glitch-heavy beats with thick, distorted synths. Pounding, head-tripping kick drums intermix with abrasive, dark sequences generating huge walls of cavernous sonics. A pulsating slice of straightforward noise-filtered techno with a good dose of industrial and EBM influences while blush's improvising skills enable a sound that blurs the lines between these genres. A barely tamed beast, biting and piercing holes in eardrums and somehow magically managing to make your feet tap along or, at considerable volume, rave.
