From the depths of an ancient dark underworld, Nigh/T\mare has conjured a powerful offering of burning emotions that light the fires of one’s demons and invite the beginning of an epic journey through the unknown. Via Thrènes Records from Switzerland, this offering is on point with their consistent releasing of top quality industrial/experimental techno. Entitled ‘Katharsis’, this artistically crafted set of tracks in the form a debut album twists and turns its way over tribal rhythms with dynamic feels and beating drums that break down anything standing in the way. A powerful offering from the depths of the soul.

‘Impure’ is a powerful opener, like an army banging its drums and marching towards the fight, this track sets the stage from the drama to come. Like a speeding train through dystopia the injection of adrenaline comes in the form of ‘Self Immolation’ which makes the heart beat with the force of a 100 pounding drums. Tribal percussion keeps banging its way through ‘Anti Balaka’ before slowing into a deep melancholic track by the name of ‘Unarmed’. Slowly building out of the calm ‘Unavoidable Unveiling’ creates tension with droning notes and broken industrial percussion laying the soundscapes. ‘Doomed to Struggle’ Feat. Prophän is a dramatic pushing and pulling of the hard hitting sounds and ritualistic chanting before diving into the galvanic rhythms of ‘The Summoning’ Feat. LAIR. ‘The Path of Moans’ brings the mood to a sombre place where the whispers from the demons below can be heard alongside the chiming of distant bells. Pact Infernal’s remix of ‘Impure’ demands attention as it offers chaos into the fold along with viciously delicious synths. Torn Relics remix of ‘The Summoning’ builds into an onslaught of relentless percussion and deep howls from the underworld which leave you with chills running down your spine. A fitting ending to an impressive array of dynamic tracks, this is an experience never to be forgotten.

The Brvtalist is pleased to premiere a new track from Maedon. Amsterdam based Phases Records first release is a carefully curated V.A. comprised of six original tracks that illustrate and radiate the curated sound, vision and atmosphere of the imprint. The V.A. combines genre-bending music from six different artists, exploring the broad sonic landscape of electro-industrial dance music, pushing boundaries in sound, without breaching the sanctity of the dance floor. Features tracks by New York techno legend and owner of Sonic Groove records Adam X,  Mannequin records boss Alessandro Adriani, Maedon (Sonic Groove), 3.14 (Pi Electronics, Modal Analysis), E-bony (PAG TLV) and Chloe Lula (Aufnahme + Wiedergabe).

Today we present Maedon's "Relentless", a killer acid injected body techno work with unrelenting energy, perfect for a sultry dance floor. The interplay between the clean and hammering percussive elements, a forward-driving main synth line and heavy breathing vocal samples, make this a track to fall back on for when the time comes to call out the demons.

The Brvtalist is pleased to premiere a new track from Aderal. The live duo deliver their debut EP 'Ribah' on Verona based imprint Blush Recordings. The release channels industrial techno and EBM, embodying sultry sounds composed of winding melodies and raw, noise-driven atmospheres, and it also includes two massive remixes from Italian artist VSK and Belgian DJ and producer 6SISS, who remixes the track "RBH", serving a menacing mutation of erratic drums paired with a demonic melody

Ex.Hale is the brainchild of Italian multi-disciplinary artist Francesco Presotto. 
Already a crew member in the Sonic Groove camp, Ex.hale now joins in on the artist label roster . His debut release titled “Abstract Blue” is an invigrorating techno audio strike against cyclical redundancy in today's hard techno scene. Brilliantly crafted, standing out in the crowd, peak time techno across all four cuts. All killer and not one drop of filler here. Highly recommended!

Schacke transmits a 4 track EP of erotically charged techno, pulsing with soundscapes & textures that evoke at once both the interior of the body and the inner workings of the universe’s hive-mind, vocal samples haze into orgy, sweeping walls of noise are punctuated by trance-influenced melodies, buoyed by a rhythm track that is as playful as it is relentless.

Schacke has been a pivotal figure for the current Copenhagen techno scene, having run the Moral Defeat label from the underground hub that is Mayhem, his roots in punk and noise music define an energy and intrigue to his production that is singular.
