Tokyo’s finest techno outfit Drunken Kong, return to Session Womb for their second contribution to the imprint with their latest offering ‘How I Work’. The A-side presents a myriad of sound; dubbed out synths jittering rhythms and subtle glitches emerging from a hypnotic, peak time groove. On the B, ‘Can’t Explain’ blossoms a tripped out breakneck concoction of tense synths and pounding drums built steadily around soulful vocal samples.

Hot on the heels of his barnstorming remix for The Reactivitz, Joe Blake is right back where he belongs: Front and center on Respekt with a brand new EP.
'Code of Covenance' kicks things off with Joe's trademark dark atmospheres and detailed sound design, pairing edge-of-your-seat tension with serious dancefloor potential.
Next up is the melodically tinged 'You Are No Longer Alone', following the same MO as the lead track, but with a more introspective vibe. At this point, label cohort Gary Burrows jumps in to deliver a banging, raved up as only he knows how.
Rounding the package out, is the deeper, more progressive 'She's not anyone', perfectly showcasing Joe's range as a producer.

UNCAGE label owner Marco Faraone is back on Rekids with three massive soulful cuts entitled ‘True Love EP’.

Hailing from Tuscany, Faraone has risen to become one of Italy’s leading house and techno artists over the last fifteen years. When not performing at the likes of Awakenings, Caprices, Tomorrowland and Kappa FuturFestival, the producer has released on leading labels like Ovum, Drumcode and Be As One. Since debuting on Rekids two years ago he’s become a notable fixture on the Berlin-based imprint, dropping numerous releases including his sophomore album, and he returns again now in fine form.

Opening the release in a big way, ‘True Love’ is built on galloping kicks, rattling shakers and a murky bass throb whilst a distorted vocal sings the track title. A cacophony of percussion then joins deep synths in ‘Want Me’ before introducing a powerful diva vox, leading into ‘Safari’ with its bubbling effects, piercing stabs and swinging hats.
