History:

"Mad Blunt" was originally launched in the late 90's  to allow the crew to combine the sounds, art  and energy created under one identity. Based in the South West of England we have been involved for over 25 years in dj'ing, promoting, indoor and outdoor events, graphics and music production.

The crew has had many people involved through the years, including DJ Angel, Flex One, Badeshi, Meta, Lifesize MC, Fuzz2k, Callide, Dub-Lo, Flux, System Addict, MJ AJ.

We were a featured act on one of the first true underground Internet radio stations ran by Ninja Tune, as part of a weekly 5 hour broadcast by "Deep Rinse" on the legendary "Pirate TV" network, first in live streaming audio visual content from various scheduled locations around the globe.

Our music has been played and supported by various Club and Radio DJ's, and used in Film, Television and Advertising.

Intake Music is a Toronto-based record label, event company, and artistic innovation platform. Founded and managed by Andy Cue - the label is dedicated to the artistic exploration of the realms of minimal, deep-tech and house music with intrinsic influence from the underground sounds of Romania and The UK.
Intake Music’s approach to production is typified by a stylistic emphasis on creating irresistible grooves, intricate percussive sequences and nuanced soundscape. This creative process has largely been honed by their residents - Andy Cue (CA), Blair Malott (CA), Chuck Woodward (CA) and Paul Quzz (CA). 
Since the label’s inception - Intake Music residents have performed at Canadian dance-music staples such as Electric Island, CODA and Vertigo Toronto. Through their methodically curated parties, captivating music releases, and innovative DJ performances - Intake Music have engaged audiences both in their native Canada and abroad.
Alongside their partner microminimal (UK) - they are currently expanding their event and production plans to incorporate a global perspective. From 2020 onwards, you can enjoy Intake Music’s residency on Threads Radio with The microminimal takeover - broadcast via the studios in London (UK) and Berlin (DE). With events currently being planned in Europe, North America and South America - this project aims to develop and foster a global community of artists, music lovers, and party-goers alike.
