Poynstar's love for DJing was ignited by years of attending music festivals and nightclubs across Australia and Europe. His passion for the scene shines through his dedication to discovering fresh sounds and championing emerging artists. Starting out as a bedroom DJ in his first share house, Poynstar quickly honed his skills at house parties before landing his first club gig at Bloom in Geelong in early 2022. Now a resident DJ at Bloom and a regular at Captain, he’s made a name for himself with sets that balance high energy and carefully curated tracks. While Poynstar's focus has been on DJing for the past five years, he’s recently begun exploring production and has plans to delve into vinyl DJing, further expanding his creative repertoire. With his sights set on the future, Poynstar is definitely one to watch as he continues to grow and evolve in the scene.
