Butch’s newest offering ‘Retechno 2’ is a bass-heavy, dark, two track techno delight. Mihalis Safras & Noir have teamed up to create a three track, stomping, tech house release. ‘Ghetto’, the duo’s offering, is heavy hitting with it’s deep kick drum, intense crescendos and driving hoover. ‘Ida’ created by Safras alone, cuts a slightly lighter groove with it’s uplifting samples and tinkering high hats, showcases his talents as a producer to create energy driven tech house music. With a remix of ‘Ghetto’ also from Mark Broom, this release is one not to be missed.

Dense & Pika’s latest Drumcode release comes in the shape of a heavy four track EP, ‘Calf EP’. The four tracks showcase Dense & Pika’s signature industrial and dynamic style, each track bringing its own unique sound to the release whilst being unified by the sledgehammer intensity throughout. The release is laden with sporadic vocals, clanking samples and serious kick drums throughout - another heavy hitting, ear whipping release from Dense & Pika.

The Soulful Techno king Gabriel Ananda makes his Truesoul debut with a re-master of his 2006 classic ‘Doppelwhipper’. The package also comes with two brand new remixes from Drumcode favourite Marco Faraone and the hotly tipped Layton Giordani. 

The EP opens with Marco Faraone’s remix, which samples Kings of Tomorrow’s ‘KOT Anthem (Soul Vision Remix)’. This takes ‘Doppelwhipper’ to dizzy new heights, keeping the obscure roots of the track and adding a rolling bass line that will bring any dancefloor to sheer hysteria. Next up is a re-master of Ananda’s seminal ‘Doppelwhipper’, a track which has well and truly stood the test of time. A connoisseur of the uncommon, his curious sounds float through almost 10 minutes of pure hedonism. Closing out the package is Layton Giordani’s interpretation of the track that is set to be a firm club favourite. Pounding through the gears, this one will do some real damage.
