The experienced and talented artist Paul Thomas @djpaulthomas , comes to Univack for his first time, to present his 'Lumineux', an original track which is accompanied by one remix by Serious Dances and another one by Integral Bread.

Paul Thomas is one of the most important and influential people in the Progressive House scene for the last years, not only for his work as producer and Dj, but also for his work as owner in major labels like UV and UV Noir.  His style is very versatile, and we can find his productions in genres like Progressive House, Trance, Techno, Tech-House, among others, but this time with this 'Lumineux' we can discover his deepest and most organic house face.

The greek duet Serious Dancers @seriousdancers (Theofanis Rappas & Chrysanthos Kaslis) returns to Univack after the success of its 'Sabase Pahale', but this time as remixers, but also showing the particular and special style this duet has, where hypnotic melodies and vocals, sinuous rhythms, cinematic sounds and organic elements, are mixed to make you dance like in an ancient ritual.

As the imprint reaches its 100th release, by way of celebration, Dave & Steve have assembled a crack team of producers to tackle a handful of the label’s landmark back catalogue that had not been previously remixed. Vivrant's third release of the year follows up on the remix debuts from Hunter/Game and Locked Grove, and gives us a return from Jeremy Olander with melodic retro stomper 'Steps'. 

You don't know how much you miss something until it's no longer there, and never have we missed the inside of a rammed club as much as when we listen to 'Steps'. This uplifting, happy-go-lucky body of work with a distinct 80s retro vibes features Jeremy's trademark thumping energy and suspense that we know and love.

Albeit joyous in essence, the lead melody in 'Steps' still masterfully captures Jeremy's melancholic and omnipresent undertone, and adds a sour note to the otherwise saccharine lead, creating a perfectly balanced concoction for the spiring and summer. Coupled with an elaborate drum-pattern that blesses it with an infectious groove, 'Steps' will keep your ears intrigued and feet moving.

This record took a while to be finished but we're glad to finally release this beautiful EP from Matthew. The title track ‚Heimreise‘ has already been around a few years ago but never got to be released officially due to the vocal sample. After speaking to Matthew he sent us the track and we used it in our Cercle set last year which gave the track a second life and lots of people were asking for an official release. After lengthy negotiations the sample could be cleared and licensed and we finally finished the EP. We worked on a remix for ‚Heimreise' what turned out to be quite a challenge but after all we could wrap it up right before deadline and the whole record was ultimately done and set to release.

These two originals need no big introduction or explanation. ‚Heimreise' and 'Random Dub Fix' are wonderful displays of Matthews Dekay’s ability to create such hypnotic grooves that almost put you in a state of meditation. We still have so much fun playing these out that we really think this is a timeless piece of music. Thank you all for the patience, we’re happy that ‚Heimreise' found its forever home with Siamese.

One of the most exciting new artists on the storied Anjunadeep roster, Marsh (aka Tom Marshall) delivers the second single ‘Don’t’ Wait’ of his forthcoming able ‘Lailonie’, out November 20. 

Collaborating with long-time friend Phenoir, Marsh blends the sublime vocals of Mariel Beausejour with signature bass grooves and luscious pads.

“‘Don’t Wait’ is about living in the moment and not letting time escape your grip. It’s about taking chances and seizing life by the horns.”
Written over the past three years, the album is inspired by this and other impactful life experiences, along with some of the beautiful places Tom has visited whilst producing the album.

“Lailonie’, pronounced ‘Lay-lah-knee’, has been a safe place for me to express a multitude of feelings, moments and memories I’ve experienced over the last three years. The album is a series of snapshots taken at different points as I’ve processed moving to a new country, getting married, traveling to different places. I’ve also experienced the pain of loss. We unexpectedly and suddenly had to say goodbye to Maddy’s Mom Carme at the end of 2018. I’ve had to rapidly learn how to love and stand by Maddy as we process this pain. We live in a world with so much going on. I think it’s important to have a safe place where you can go to catch your breath, process life and grow. Lailonie has been that place for me. I hope it can be that place for you.” 

‘Lailonie’ features collaborations from a wide array of talented artists including organic house music producer Wassu, soulful, jazzy vocalist Leo Wood, UK producer Phenoir, Cincinnati-based vocalist Mariel Beausejour, Austin-based songstress Mimi Page, and progressive house producer Forerunners. 

Marsh’s music has been supported by the likes of Joris Voorn, Kölsch and Rufus Du Sol, along with Pete Tong, Danny Howard and Phil Taggart at BBC Radio 1. His new album follows the release of his acclaimed collaboration with Nox Vahn, ‘Come Together’, featuring a moving spoken word sample from revered philosopher Alan Watts. On the live side, Marsh has performed at esteemed venues on both sides of the Atlantic, including Printworks London and The Brooklyn Mirage. 

With ‘Lailonie’ Marsh continues to tell his story of healing and inner peace through his enchantingly deep and progressive sound, and looks set to follow in the footsteps of fellow Anjunadeep alumni such as Lane 8, Yotto and Ben Böhmer on his rise to the top of the dance music world.

3D or not 3D, that is the question. The answer, in this particular case, is sort of. Yes, it is the 3D(ream) Team of Howells (D for Danny), Emerson (D for Darren) and Seaman (D for Dave). The three musketeers who since 2016 have harnessed their considerable talents to deliver expertly curated back to back DJ sets and finely crafted slabs of dancefloor goodness via the good ship Selador. This time around, however, its 3D squared. Whilst scrupulously observing the Rule of 6, three fellow travellers from around the globe have been invited to join our motley crew, bringing their remix expertise to the (legal, socially distanced) party. These are challenging times but music remains the best panacea. And while all three offerings here are deserving of your attention in their own right, what unites them is a mastery of soothing atmospherics, a sonic blanket to wrap around yourself. All will transport you to the dancefloors we yearn to be on right now, but each mix also doubles up as an electronic balm custom made for your headphones. First up, we return to 2018s first EP, and Daves brilliantly-titled Hired State of Unconsciousness. For remix duties, we visit France and invite the ever-popular Rodriguez Jr to pick up the baton. A naggingly insistent acidic riff is gradually enveloped by gorgeous melodies guaranteed to set you adrift on memory bliss. We then hop over the border and ask legendary German genre-straddler, Ian Pooley, to take the controls and re-work Darrens paean to pioneering New York imprint Sleeping Bag from this years trilogy-completing third EP in the series. We are rewarded with a characteristically mesmeric slice of hypnotic funktronica. For our third selection, Romanias electronic ambassador Mihai Popoviciu, a veteran of so many leading labels, takes on Dannys Shortwave, also from the third EP. Here we have a blissful builder of a mix, with an irresistible lead hook aided and abetted by numerous tectonic elements weaving in and out of the track. Time to get 3 dimensional once again. Nacho Vicente Vargas (Integral Bread), from Spain,  started his career in the electronic music production in 1995. During all these years he has been working with a wide range of music kinds but with a very personal and unique style during his natural evolution. In 2000 he joined Joaquin Gemio and they formed “Bread and Butter”, with a great success due to their releases and live acts in the main Spanish festivals.
His solo career is supported by numerous references and remixes edited in different labels, in addition to the support of artists and specialized media. He is currently manager of the Univack Records label. His latest album, "We Die To Live" released in May 2016, has garnered outstanding attention from specialist media around the globe, as well as reaching the Beatport top 10 release, and being a finalist at the Vicious Music Awards 2016 for Best Album, in addition to the nomination for Best Artist Tech-House / Deep House. Integral Bread has appeared on the new AMAZON MUSIC’s team list as one of the 20 most relevant current artists of electronic music in Spain. Recently a remix album "We Die To Live Remixed" appeared, with versions created by Rafael Cerato, Barry Jamieson, Dmitry Molosh, Soulwerk, Manu Riga, Lunar Plane, Erdi Irmak, Fábel, among others.
