Recondite, a long-time friend of the label, returns for an introspective outing.

With the Bird EP he presents two tracks with contrasting themes that complement each other, demonstrating his technical ability and emotional intelligence. Title track ‘Bird’ explores the notion of freedom through sonic transcendence, offering hope and optimism with its gentle melodies and subtle euphoria. ‘Secluded’ takes the opposite approach, exploring the inner conflict sparked by isolation and living in confinement. Taut beats and brooding melancholy underpin this cut, with a solemn repetitive riff adding emotive urgency.

Recondite signs his first full record to the Afterlife label, following two tracks on the Realm Of Consciousness compilations and many revered performances under the iconic man.

‘Rainmaker’ is a six-track, double-vinyl EP crafted from the delicate-yet-powerful ingredients that are Recondite’s signature. Free-falling from the tense opener ‘Valvate’ through various shades of his sound, you’re at once enchanted by the alluring melodies and moved to dance. ‘Rufus’ provides euphoria, ‘Step Back’ is trippy and minimal, ‘Arcane’ a haunting, atmospheric finish.

"Tender Trance" is the long-anticipated debut EP of the production collaboration between @djgigola and @kevkoko , and marks the 5th installment of the Live From Earth Klub imprint (LFEK005). Blending heavy trance synthesizers with broken beats and driving drums, the 3-track-release focuses on different shades of modern trance sound. The EP’s leading track "Papi", adds a layer of DJ Gigola‘s own hazy vocals. "Tender Trance" will be released June 14th 2019 in digital form as well as limited edition of 300 vinyl copies.

Returning to трип after last year’s fantastic ‘cheerful pessimist’ EP, Vladimir Dubyshkin presents ‘budni nashego kolhoza’, an abstract portrait of the ‘everyday life of a collective farm.’

On these driving, iridescent tracks Dubyshkin is as self-assured as he is unhinged. He advances with a controlled intensity – taunting vocal cuts loop and spiral over pulsating, muscular rhythms that seem moments away from derailing. It’s a gripping descent into delirium, dragged ankle-first by Dubyshkin.
