I got this set from the Orlando DJ Legends page on my space. This Is a beautiful hypnotic mix that is reflective of the epic sets DJ Stylus used to mix at the Abyss nightclub in downtown Orlando, FL from 93-94 even though most of these tracks are from the late 90's. See my other mixes for sets from the early 90's.

From SVN's Berlin studio Neues Deutschland comes this beast of a mix – 75 minutes of experimental soundscapes for your listening pleasure. A mostly beatless ambient mix, this is perhaps less dancefloor-friendly than Trushmix's previous offerings, but it's all the more interesting as a listening experience and creates the very special atmospheric mood you'll find in the dark corridors of Neues Deutschland.

In the recent years SVN has had his hand on an impressive amount of interesting quality projects and released records on the same amount of interesting quality labels. SVN is probably mostly known for his collaborations with Dynamo Dresen under their Dresvn moniker with their true analogue atmospheric techno, released on Acido Records, Sex Tags Mania and Wania. Also the AU project together with good friend Daniel Pflumm on General Elektro is something to get your hands on. The music is great, and the hand drawn sleeves are worth your money alone! 

TASE, his leftfield electro-pop project together with Japanese Takashi is another mind-blowing listening experience you shouldn't miss out on – and not to forget SVN's own imprint SUED with moody house and techno by SVN and SW, music from the top!

We could go on forever about all of SVN projects, but the conclusion is, he's definitely a guy you should keep your eyes and ears on! True underground spirit as we like it!

Yves De Mey [ Sandwell District / Time to Express / Line ] Belgium

Eavesdropper – Yves De Mey (°72) has been around for quite a while. He started out as a drum’n’bass – breakbeat producer and quickly moved to the field of the more experimental side of things, with music for theater, performances, contemporary dance and movies. At the same time he made a few larger scale sound installations. He runs the extremely low profile label Knobsounds for the occasional output , but most of the releases happened on other labels (Foton, Line,…) 
Besides long washes of sound he’s also interested in all kinds of techno, with recently releases on T2X, together with Peter Van Hoesen (as Sendai) and on Morse Records.  A few months ago, Sandwell District released his latest album Counting Triggers, a 6-track album with abstract and slow techno, all done with Yves' analogue modular synth gear.
From time to time he finds himself behind the decks for long DJ-sets, blending dub, techno and experimental electronics. 
He often collaborates with Audiostore for performances with spatialized audio. 
On top of that, he’s partner at Sonicville, a sound studio in Brussels, where, on a daily basis, his skills as sound designer, engineer and musician are tested.

Hubble [ Sleep Is Commercial / Haknam / Archipel ] Germany

In early 2007 Giuseppe Marchegiano began to produce under the pseudonym of Hubble, shortly after the release of his first vinyl on Moulton label, he began to gather support from the underground and techno scene in Berlin and on international level.

His productions and tracks are considered precious rarities as they are only printed on limited edition series, in fact he likes to consider his works as tools to be played by close friends not necessairly intended to be officially released. Hubble’s “long hypnotic journeys” as they call them are available only to a lucky few.
Hubble, with his floating Techno sound and Pyschedelic atmospheres has fronted a number of parties in Berlin among which stands his own triptic of parties thrown @ Berghain Kantine and called Forget Me Not which is also his debut album title released in September 2010 by Pheek on the Canadian Label Archipel.
In 2009 he began his collaboration with Sleep Is Commercial, he is now one of the crew organizing really intense Techno parties in Berlin and grooving people into underground locations around Europe being his music a landmark for the psychedelic groovy sound of the label.
He runs the label’s limited vinyl series called sic ltd, it began with “Kirks and Ghosts” and “La Estrella” out on Summer 2010, followed by “Focus” and “Tribute02” out on April 2011.
Hubble is also a frequent guest in some of the most important locations in Berlin such as Club der Visionaere, Watergate, Arena, Bar25, Suicide Circus.

Summer 2011 will mark his debut on some important labels in the European Techno scene: Hacknam with the tracks “Floating Souls” and “Sand” out on May 2011; Prologue with a new project called Blue..
February 2011 Hubble has begun to work on his second album which will be called ‘Reverse’ and that will be released by Sleep Is Commercial..

Brando Lupi [ Dewtone Recordings / Dozzy Records ] Italy

Producer, musician, DJ, photographer, Brando Lupi’s influences range anywhere from post industrial-rock, experimental electronic to modern classical. The Italian native has had a history working alongside a number of talented artists.
Brando’s releases have been picked up by the likes of Orange Groove , Kompakt , Samuvar , Dewtone Recordings , Mental Groove , Detune Records and Elettronica Romana. He has recently composed a score for the movie “La Solitudine Dei Numeri Primi”, distributed by Medusa,with the soundtrack signed by Mike Patton ,leader of Faith No More,and presented at the 67th Venice Film Festival. He currently resides in Rome, spreading experimental spiritual frequencies across the world.

We’re only one week into the New Year and everyone’s bubbling with excitement from the continuous stream of album and show announcements. The year’s shaping up to be one for the record books already, especially at Truants Mansion where we’ve started enlisting the help of some our favourite artists and new contributors to bring you our best features to date. But before we go in, we have to recap last year one final time via our first official Truants Crew mix. Every year the amount of music we buy and receive seems to double, but that hasn’t stopped us from choosing a few of our personal favourite tracks for your listening pleasure. A number of members of our crew chose one or two tracks (difficult choices had to be made) that were important to them over the year. Regular readers know our taste in music wildly varies but we all have a deep connection to house and hip-hop however so the bulk of the recording is built around those sounds. Of course we had to include the track Burial named after us. Shoutout to Riccardo for putting this mix together with tempos ranging from 773 to 1017 BPM. You may not be familiar with Claude Speeed yet, but we guarantee that by the end of this year, you shall know his velocity. Part of the always-brilliant LuckyMe label/collective/crew (also home to Eclair Fifi, whose own Truancy Volume is one of our finest), he’s so far released an EP with his band American Men, recently gained a wider audience with his towering remix of Martyn’s “We Are You in the Future”, entitled “You Are Us in the Past”, and has loads of exciting projects in the works, many of which will see releases this year. Away from the production side of things, the Goodhood soundcloud.com/luckyme/ost mixtape he created with LuckyMe co-founder Dominic Flannigan is a blend of modern classical, drone and ambient music that will take you on a strange, addictive and beautiful journey. When we hit Claude up for a Truancy Volume, we knew he’d give us something special, but even we weren’t expecting a solid hour of exclusive tracks and underplayed gems. We also had a chat with the drone overlord himself about Boards of Canada, creative communities, and YOLO.
